My colleague Bob and I recently helped @BGCNoblesville leaders put some finishing touches on Camp Crosser getting it ready for the kiddos to enjoy during fall break. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to pitch in! #WeAreDukeEnergy

Thorpe Creek Elementary School students in Fishers were treated to Jurassic Spark play presented by Bright Star Touring Theatre sponsored by Duke Energy. The kids loved learning about energy efficiency from the performers and their prehistoric friends during the show.

Energy assistance help is available for income-qualified households.
💡Applications for Indiana’s Energy Assistance Program (EAP) are now open. 💡The EAP provides a one-time annual benefit to help cover heating and electricity costs. 💡Administered by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, this statewide program offers valuable support for income-qualified households to keep their homes comfortable and connected throughout the winter. 💡Applications are handled locally through community action agencies across the state – organizations that work closely with residents to simplify the process and answer questions. To find your local agency, visit eap.ihcda.in.gov.

An update from Cambridge City on power restoration efforts there. Duke Energy quickly brought in technology to help replace our substation that became inoperable due to historic flooding.

Our crews are making progress setting up the mobile substation.
Thanks to the long and hard work of our crews, we are down to approximately 1,700 customers without power in our Indiana service territory. Many of these customers are in Cambridge City, where we are bringing in a mobile substation to help get people reconnected. Our thoughts are with all Hoosiers affected by this week's storms and flooding.

Please stay alert and keep away from power lines.
Waves of storms today caused new power outages and flooded critical infrastructure like this Cambridge City substation, challenging our crews working to restore service. Over 50,000 customers have been restored, and we’ll continue working until everyone is back on.

The Duke Energy Foundation closed out its #America250 initiative in #Indiana with grants to 12 local organizations that are working on projects celebrating the state’s and the country's history. Ranging from the restoration of a 1947 locomotive in @City_TerreHaute that once served power plants, to a public mural made up of individual tiles created by residents and groups in #Brookville, it's been wonderful being a part of sharing the American story.

Thanks for sharing your insights on predicting weather and severe weather event history.
Spent the morning at Duke Energy’s Storm School learning about the work that goes into restoring power after severe storms. A big thank you to the emergency managers, first responders, and utility crews who keep our communities running. More storms are expected Wednesday. #INwx
