I'm also heartbroken by the loss of Madison, and I send my deepest condolences to Senator Warner, Lisa, and to their daughters.
I've known the Warners for three decades, and always loved seeing Madison whenever she attended an event with her father.
This is such a loss.

Congratulations to my dear friend and New Jersey's next Governor, @MikieSherrill, on her victory tonight! 🎉 I've seen Mikie's grit and determination firsthand — she's going to make a great Governor when she wins this November.
For over two decades, @GerryConnolly was my county supervisor, board chairman, and congressman.
More importantly, he was a friend.
I was honored to have his endorsement during a 4-way primary campaign and I supported him many times.
He was a one of a kind and will be missed.

I’m thinking of the Bidens as they take on cancer, a disease they’ve done so much to try to spare other families from. Wishing you a speedy, full recovery.
I first met @JoeBiden in 1988 as a @DNC staffer. l then worked with him in the 2000s as a @JudiciaryDems staffer. Twenty years later, I was honored to serve in his presidential administration. He’s always been a fighter... Today, I wish him well as he faces his toughest fight.
As a Fairfax County, VA, resident @GerryConnolly was my local supervisor and then my Congressman. I've supported his many campaigns as he has supported mine. We've shared constituents and worked on many projects together. I send him strength at this stage of a wonderful career.
As the sun begins to set on this #EasterSunday, my wife and I are grateful that our lives have true meaning because He Lives.
