Journey without signal across to West Wales required a full album to listen to: The Holy Bible by The Manics was the perfect accompaniment

IT Dept - wonderful talented people who were a major support system; Craig, Andrew, Alison, Martin, Richard - and the Dutch crew as well

Hotel in Holland: walking into a full plate glass window after dutifully saying goodnight to a whole bunch of new employees I was training

Germany: being mugged in Düsseldorf station, positively identifying the culprits & being involved in a communal Copper High-Five celebration

Forest Of Dean: The flooring contractor that promised he would be a £1m account within a year and didn't do £1 in 3 years before being shut

East Wales: visiting a husband and wife flooring co who were really old school pernickety but their premises were a bombsite of untidiness

Devon: having lunch with the boss looking out on Verity watching the bemused looks on the faces of tourists who ventured to her "other side"

it was ages ago

Cardiff: walking to an appointment and finding had to wait for a scene of Dr Who to be filmed before I could pass through the street #daleks

Bristol: Going out on the area with the head of manufacturing and him crushing the hand of one of my lady customers in a powerful handshake

Aberystwyth:visiting the industry's grumpiest customer, also the friendliest, nightmare town to park, walking windswept round the old castle

@profmarkreed the third one.
