Police Release CCTV In Manhunt After Woman Allegedly Sexually Assaulted On Packed Train In Broad Daylight
British Transport Police are seeking a man in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a woman travelling by train from Birmingham to Derby.
The incident took place on the morning of 21 September, shortly after 9am. According to investigators, a man sat beside the woman, made repeated comments about her appearance, and then allegedly assaulted her before leaving the train at Derby station.
Officers have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to question, describing him as potentially able to assist with the inquiry. Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 76 of 22 September.
Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A 14-year-old child with an intellectual disability is reportedly being sexually exploited by multiple men while in State care.
Deputy Liam Quaide raised this horrific case directly with the Taoiseach.
And what became the “fundamental issue” in the Taoiseach’s response?
Staffing. Recruitment. Special-care beds.
Those failures are serious. But listen to this exchange and ask yourself:
WHO ARE THE MEN?
Where is the outrage about the adults sexually exploiting this child?
What is being done to identify them, stop them, investigate them and bring them to justice?
Why does the conversation so quickly become about finding a secure bed for HER, rather than also putting the full force of the State behind pursuing THEM?
This child needs protection.
But she should not become the focus of the State’s containment while the adults exploiting her fade into the background.
RAPE IS NOT A STAFFING ISSUE.
PUT THE SPOTLIGHT ON THE MEN.

A few days ago we learned that migrants are taking nearly 40% of housing in wealthy areas of the country. Yesterday Neil Prendeville reveals foreigners are "very much over-represented" on the housing list in Cork.
More proof that shows we don't have a housing crisis, we have an immigration crisis.

🚨 DIVERSITY STRIKES AGAIN.
A man from Blackley has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to the rape of two young girls, who were both under the age of 12.
Daniel Olowookere carried out the offences against one victim in 2018 and the second in 2020, with investigators warning there may be further victims given the time gap between attacks.
At Manchester Crown Court, Olowookere initially denied wrongdoing but eventually entered guilty pleas.
Despite this, witnesses described him as showing “zero remorse” during sentencing, shaking his head as the judge delivered the prison term.
Olowookere, who moved from Nigeria, had his cultural background raised in mitigation by his defence, though the judge stressed that nothing could excuse the sexual abuse
