Did you notice how Hegseth just fired all the generals who were most likely to disobey illegal orders?

We shouldn't be "beating" China, because we can't. It's a societal thing not a kinetic one. They invest in their society, they are proud of their strong society who invest in the people, in the future. We squander our productive output on wars to enrich billionaires. Diplomacy.

Donald Trump is not himself the disease of our politics. He’s just the worst symptom.
The disease is the system that allows corporations to buy and sell politicians so they can rig it against the rest of us.
Money out of politics. Money in your pocket. Medicare for All.

I wish to God that journalists would investigate how these mysterious migrant "caravans" always conveniently show up 40-60 days before a major U.S. election day.
Check the dates.

ICE being told to stop arresting non-criminals is an extraordinary admission of guilt by the Trump administration. They’ve spent the last two years arguing that they weren’t arresting people indiscriminately based on the color of their skin, and now they’re basically admitting to it and telling their own agents to stop.
Unbefuckinglievable.
SCOOP: ICE officers across the country were told this weekend to stop arresting non-criminals, agency sources tell @realDailyWire
Now, ICE may only arrest illegal immigrants with criminal convictions or charges for the time being, said the sources.
The change also ends so-called “collateral arrests,” sources said, meaning officers who find a criminal target alongside others in the country illegally may detain only the target.

I swear to god I’d love to be able to spend my money on something as simple as a garden hose nozzle, and get ‘at a minimum’ two Michigan seasons of daily use! $14 for this @melnor_inc nozzle around the 4th of July 2025, and it just disintegrated in my hands! 😢

Universities operate in the same way Republicans have pushed for public education to run in this country—like a business, for profit.
As we watch Cornell University administration casually exempt these men from accountability for gangraping another student because it was believed to be more profitable for them to look the other way, please know this is also how the GOP wants your child’s elementary school to run.
Yeah, it is that serious.
Catching up on the @DanLeBatardShow after a week of travel,.. and I’ll make this simple for you Dan & crew!!
Figure out how to have @KevinHarlanEfct on every week!! Always a great listen and yes… He! Is! The! Best!!

More of this, please.
In the midst of our big moments and everyday demands, may we remember to reach out to another, lift them up, and welcome them in.
To us, it may cost little. To a child, it can mean everything.
Here is to seeing someone, making room for them, and taking a moment to give them a memory that can fuel their spirit, expand their horizons, and perhaps even change what they believe is possible.
May we see more of this.
May we be more of this.

The corrupt Trump DOJ/FBI owns Susan Collins.
This is what real reporting looks like. Damn.
New: In late 2024, FBI investigators had enough evidence to launch a sweeping bribery probe that could ensnare top lawmakers, including Sen. Susan Collins. Then Trump was reelected and eviscerated the FBI and DOJ teams handling public corruption probes. propub.li/4yLLwaF

Chuck the Coward is constantly looking for people to blame while never criticizing the person who caused the problem.
