I love this … how do you teach your children not to be socialist. Ask your child to clean the bathroom. Pay them £10 the. Take £7 off them and give it to their sibling who didn’t do the work. I bet your child won’t be a socialist for long 💣
This is the best way to teach how socialism works.

One pedestrian’s report was enough to get this rider identified. City of London Police say the incident happened on Fleet Street on 31 July. Officers checked CCTV after a woman reported his riding, then worked with Lime to identify him using trip data. He accepted a fine for careless cycling and apologised to her. Lime permanently banned him from its service. Should this approach be used more often to tackle careless riding? 🎥 Footage: City of London Police

When your vehicle is that wide, it’s your responsibility to be aware of oncoming traffic and make sure there’s enough room to pass safely.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
UK Highway Code Rule 126: all road users must be able to stop within the distance they can see to be clear. The video shows a blind bend; the cyclist appears not to have done so. Larger vehicles have greater responsibility, but all share duties. gov.uk/guidance/the-h… gov.uk/guidance/the-h…

A cyclist can see vulnerable pedestrians crossing but must think can stop won’t stop …… Rather than stop and use hazard perception he continues straight into pedestrians…..

The zebra crossing where hundreds of cyclists fail to stop😡😡😡 The Times counted 357 bike riders who did not brake for pedestrians at the ‘floating bus stop’ near Blackfriars Bridge in central London. We must do better 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
After concern over the safety of “floating bus stops” myself, @CalMartinJourno and @inspirellie_ went to take a look ourselves In one hour at Blackfriars we saw 357 cyclists who failed to stop when they should have. At Elephant & Castle it was 196. Read in @thetimes now.
