The flour millers said ALL millers were adding it by September 2025.
ALL your non-wholemeal flour consumption since then has been laced with folic acid.
The labels did not tell you (see article in next tweet).

If you buy food from supermarkets much of it will contain synthetic folic acid & so high doses will be taken by some people. See @ClareCraigPath for information about the toxic effects & why it should not be in our food. Sign her petition.

At Caius College, Cambridge, attendance of these 1.5 hour-long inclusivity training sessions is mandatory for all undergrads.
The sessions will be delivered by Stop Hate UK, who erroneously state that "gender identity" is a protected characteristic and that "Islamophobia is a crime." One would hope these are honest mistakes and they will be correcting them @stophateuk
It will be interesting to hear what they have to say about the hate myself and others experienced at Cambridge for having the temerity to join a society for women that excludes men. Their website talks a lot about The Law and they seem to be very much in favour of the crime of Hate as a category: the word itself is menacingly capitalised throughout their material with the ominous implication that the violence or harassment ordinarily necessary for hatred to constitute a Hate Crime is somehow superfluous, and that simply Hating silently in your head should be sufficient.
I wonder if they like the law so much when it comes to the protected characteristic of belief in the binary nature of sex and the Supreme Court judgment clarifying that sex in law means biological sex. We shall soon find out.
In any case, by bringing them in and mandating attendance, Caius College is at best tacitly endorsing this ideological pressuring of students into being firmly on the woke side of a culture war they are determined not to wade out of, even given recent events. Training will of course include American rubbish about unconscious bias, microaggressions and how to be an Upstander against heteronormative hypermasculinity.
No doubt some administrator has looked over this charity and their session descriptions and decided there's nothing at all controversial here, nothing political, just kindness.

Greggs is to close four manufacturing sites costing 740 jobs. In Britain, it’s not just a cost of living crisis. It’s a cost of doing business crisis. The Labour government show a lack of understanding on the private sector. They are completely in thrall to the public sector.

Spot on: “as a starter” we need to ditch the awful family farm tax, once and for all.
The idea this issue had gone away was fantasy.
If the government wants to show it’s serious about a rural reset, abolishing this blatant wrong would be a welcome start.newsandstar.co.uk/news/26596…

“Social media posts criticising government policy are being listed, monitored and investigated by officials.”
The government are supposed to serve the public rather than monitor those who disagree with them by Orwellian surveillance and snooping.

The dogmatic obsession with the EU really is a bizarre feature of the modern Labour Party -- completely out of step with its history and, I would argue, any frank recognition of what's been happening (or about to happen) in the EU itself.
The idea that we *must* be in the EU (and give up national economic planning powers) to grow betrays such a lack of imagination about economic policy. – at Winsford, England
Moving closer to the EU is “essential” to “stand proud in the world and secure growth”, says minister Bridget Phillipson.

One million young people are out of education, employment or training. Labour is wasting their potential.
Our Get to Work scheme is tough love: turn up, learn skills and apply for jobs. Refuse, and your benefits are cut.
If you can work, you should work. It’s that simple.

We’re NOT just paying benefits to illegals migrants and asylum seekers.
We’re paying for their COACHING lessons on how to claim benefits too!
And it gets worse.
We spent in the last 10 years around ‘250 MILLION’ on this lunacy.
Crazy.

We need to save on welfare, on foreign aid, on benefits for foreigners, on waste, on asylum costs.
We need to save on almost everything. And yes, the triple lock is included.
Why? Because Britain is BANKRUPT.
Anything less will lead to total economic collapse.

New polling by More in Common, commissioned by Liberty, has found that a majority of Britons believe the Government protects only the speech it agrees with. Its failures to defend free speech could cost Labour votes at the next general election.
The survey found that 54% of Britons believe the Government only protects speech it agrees with.
The findings are particularly concerning because the freedom Britons value most is the ability to criticise their Government — a staple of a healthy democracy, and one many of us may have taken for granted.
Liberty says the Government’s actions, particularly its clampdown on protests, have contributed to these results. Other concerns include arrests over online communications and Labour’s failure to defend free speech since coming to power — issues the Free Speech Union knows well through its own members.

If only the Government had been warned about this. Repeatedly. From the moment they announced the changes to APR/BPR.
The best thing the Chancellor could do to reset their disastrous rural record is show they’ve listened and later this month abolish the changes to IHT.
