It's not delusion, it's literally statistic facts, it didn't do it alone tho, it saved the franchise from the brink of death alongside the first movie, and still, the game saving the franchise doesn't mean the game was perfect, but it was a good enough game with heart.

You know what's really sad? Izuka couple of days ago said that the future of sonic will have hills and curves instead of just running in hallways. Which means at worst boost is getting reworked and shadow gens is the last traditional boost title and it's not getting it's flowers
