It was an honor to host in #Cyprus this week Gender-based violence expert Ayelet Razin Bet Or, who, since the #October7massacre, has been leading an advocacy group exposing the sexual crimes perpetuated by #Hamas against #Israeli women & children. We had an emotional lunch with MPs and other prominent Cypriot women about the horrifying sex crimes committed during the brutal terror attacks. We saw clear evidence of sexualized torture and heard about witness testimonies of mass rapes. Thank you for bearing witnesses with us. – at Cyprus

This week we hosted Ayelet Razin Bet Or, an expert on Women's Rights & Gender-based violence, for a briefing on the sexual violence committed by #Hamas against #Israeli women & girls on #October7, and following the #UN special representative report on this topic (link in first comment). It was a truely very moving evening. Our #Cypriot friends were horrified, listening to her descriptions on the sexual crimes perpetuated by Hamas terrorists and how women’s bodies were used as a weapon of war and became a part of the battlefield. Hamas is still holding 134 hostages in Gaza for 169 days. According to the UN report, there is significant information showing that the pattern of sexual assaults committed by Hamas, did not stop on October 7, but that is still ongoing.
