New research by @MariaDMPrado and @GiambiniL suggests that IMU-based kinematics can be used for accurate MSK-based estimates of spine loads and IMU-based MSK models are robust and could be implemented in the clinical setting.

Last month, I had the opportunity to participate in the Trailblazers in Engineering initiative hosted by Purdue University. It was a great honor to be selected as one of the fellows in a program that promotes the success of engineering faculty.
Excited to share our latest publication. This work presents the IMU-based estimates of L4L5 loads that closely match those previously measured in vivo.
