Don't forget about your ‘object’ for each new concept! Choosing and manipulating an object that reinforces your concept is one of the most important parts of the multi-sensory experience. This is an opportunity to bring in a real-world object to help students make a connection.

If you are planning PD for teachers and concerned about “filling the time” that’s a big problem. Teacher time is too precious. If the time isn’t purposeful, just give it back to the teachers. There is far too much to do.

Every teacher and student deserves administrators who are more centered on supporting and providing an inclusive space for all members inside the building, than worried about answering to those outside. We need brave leaders.

Some day, 50 years from now, there’s going to be a generation of people who tell their grandkids about that time they lived through a pandemic. And there’s a good chance if you're an educator, they will say your name. youtube.com/watch?v=vk0FIbad…

When we make teaching videos: * Should our faces be onscreen? * Should we look at the camera? * How much of the time? In this research, the answers are: 'Yes,' 'yes,' and 'some.' More broadly: think carefully about directing students' #attention. ow.ly/cpmh50DmHEy
