Today, on Public Education Day I joined the Prime Minister and the AEU to launch the Class Acts documentary.
I thought it was bloody brilliant.
It’s about Australians educated in public schools who have done amazing things.
People like Human Rights lawyer Jennifer Robinson and teacher and community leader Yalmay Yunupiŋu.
It’s also about the teachers who taught them what is possible.
You can watch some of the amazing stories at classacts.tv

Thank you @AlboMP @JasonClareMP & this gov for the record $16.5b investment to address chronic underfunding. A massive win!
Today is a day for celebration for public school principals, teachers and students.
With full funding, school teachers and leaders will finally have the resources they need to close the gap and provide all students with the support they need to reach their full potential. #auspol

If someone on an income better than 80% of Australians is unable to save for a median-priced house, then something is very, very wrong. But that's exactly the situation we're in.
