Some songs come out of nowhere and stay with you. "See Your Face" is one of those for me. It's on my Whiteoak EP if you want to give it a listen. 🎸 youtube.com/playlist?list=OL…

Local yellowtail have been on fire this summer. This one's from a few weeks back, flat calm and blue water all the way out. Days like this are why I'm working toward my captain's license. 🎣

Paddle surfing is how I clear my head before I start the day... A few months back, but this one still makes me smile.

Not fair folks.
New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY. ⠀ The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each. ⠀ Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance. ⠀ Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23. ⠀ Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10. ⠀ Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine. ⠀ Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill. ⠀ Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money. ⠀ They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County. ⠀ Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force. ⠀ A parent may not excuse a child for faith. ⠀ Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage. ⠀ Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state. ⠀ The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026. ⠀ A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28. Make sure EVERYONE sees this. If WE don't stand up for these incredible men and women - WHO WILL?!?!?! ⠀ Where is the “my body my choice crowd now”?

CA GOVERNOR RACE: The entire life history of Xavier Bacerra turns out to be a lie. His father wasn't an immigrant, he was born in California and the drive-by media knew the whole time - they hid it to help his campaign.

CA taxes at work
HILTON: $928 Million for Solar Panels Went to Ballot Harvesting "A hundred million a year since 2015. By 2025 that's $1 billion. The invoices for actual solar panels were $72 million. $928 million went to nonprofits doing 'environmental justice.' When you look at what that is, it's voter registration and ballot harvest. And that's what the scam is."

Stop scrolling. They said the factories were never coming back. Then Apple, TSMC, and Micron started writing checks, thousands of jobs came home, and after years of losses the trade deficit dropped to $744 billion. So is this the biggest economic turnaround of our lifetime, or the most dangerous illusion? The data says one thing, the headlines say another, and there's a catch nobody wants to say out loud. I put both side by side, and the last number changes everything. Watch to the end, then tell me which one you believe. FULL EPISODE LINK IN COMMENTS!!!

This is crazy
The Amish in New York are facing massive fines over Democrats vaccine mandates. Amish families will likely have to flee the state after losing the religious exemption they’ve had for decades Amish private schools are being hit with crushing fines for not having students vaccinated The fines are roughly $2,000 per noncompliant children, multiplied by the number of school days 3 small schools were sited, of the 59 children already cited, one more day of attendance brought the total fines to $118,000, they say they can’t pay it New York Democrats position is that every day an unvaccinated child attends school there will be a fresh violation worth up to $2,000

JD Vance just delivered the single greatest on-air warning to America of what will happen if Democrats take power “They don't just want to enact bad policy. They actually want to make it so that Republicans can never win another national election.” -They want voter fraud. -They want to destroy the foundations of American constitutional republicanism. -They're trying to abolish the institutions of American government. They have already told us they want to pack the Supreme Court and restart mass immigration. If they achieve this, we will lose the country. This is about radicalism versus common sense. Well said, @JDVance

This stupid communist has been in city hall for 6 YEARS. She was in charge of the Homelessness and Housing Committee for years. She keeps acting like some novel outsider who's gonna shake up government. Lady...you ARE government. You ARE the problem.
This campaign is about rejecting the political establishment that isn’t delivering for Angelenos. I'm running for Mayor to make our government work for people, not corporations and powerful interests.

Yesterday, Senate Democrats voted down our bills to require data centers to pay their own electricity bills, to ban stock trading by Senators, and to require an ID to vote. I voted yes, but Democratic no votes killed all three.
