Devastating news.
Doug was one of those people who made you believe in yourself simply because he believed in you. He looked out for me, encouraged me, and made a lasting impact on my life.
I’m not sure why he chose to mentor me, but I’m forever grateful. Rest easy, friend. 🙏🏾
Recap. Over the past week, @UCF_Facilities & @UCF_SportsTurf have:
🚫💰 Successfully executed a field rush plan and avoided a fine
🎨🚀 Revived a trampled game field and painted a custom SpaceU design in a short week
🏗️🏟️ Rebuilt a damaged field cabana shade structure in 4 days
Not to mention... hosting:
🏀 Two basketball games
⚽️ Three soccer matches
🥎 Fall softball.
You all are incredible!!

Update. 😏
Great job, @UCF_Facilities!!
UCF got the win vs. BYU & was not fined for its field rush. UCF AD Terry Mohajir: "We provided the Big 12 Conference w/thorough documentation of our safety preparations, including coordinated escorts for visiting players, coaches & officials. We’re proud of our athletics staff for their planning, preparation & execution in helping protect everyone involved."
Hey @cefmafacilities, I'm going to brag on @UCF_Facilities and @UCF_FanX for a bit because I'm incredibly proud of our game operations team.
A thread highlighting our commitment to sportsmanship and safety.

...and for those who thought they were leaving with souvenirs, my guys in @UCF_SportsTurf had a goalpost down and pylons up in 10 seconds. 🤣🤣
𝙎𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚: the field played absolutely incredible!! Hats off to you all for the hard work you put in each and every week!
