Just popping on here to say that I'm no longer active on Twitter. But let's connect on Thre@ds. RIP Twitter. I loved you so.
Where are the people at? Doesn't seem like anyone is on Threads. This place is dying. Can't find anyone on Mastodon. Is Blue Sky the place???
What is happening at @shopify? Why does their admin look so bad now? It used to be so good. Now it's completely grayscale, errors with borders, and buttons are so small. Why is every app now choosing poor design?
It just isn’t worth holding out hope this platform will find its way again. As Tom Petty said, “the good old days may not return.” Thankful for the community I had here.
It's 2023 and there's still not a good email client. Spark and Shortwave have some really great features but there's just too much going on. Found myself constantly doing the wrong thing. Tried Apple's desktop client and holy smokes that's terrible.
Anybody love their email client? Looking to change from Shift. Just need to manage multiple inboxes and calendars.

Would be pretty wild if the single biggest counter measure to climate change was innocuous as a new coat of paint and like a $4k tax credit so every property owner in America repaints their roof
Scientists have made a white paint that can make surfaces as much as eight degrees Fahrenheit cooler than air temperatures at midday, and up to 19 degrees cooler at night, reducing inside temperatures and cutting air-conditioning needs by as much as 40%.

Just watched Asteroid City. To be expected, it’s visually is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. But what the F is it about?
The contrast of the Retro app to any other social network is it’s not algorithm based and I can see and engage with everything new. I don’t want a firehouse of personalized content. I just want to know what’s happening in my close friends’ lives.
This book is extremely good. A great story with a great education on the coffee industry. thriftbooks.com/w/the-monk-o…
Experiencing some nice wrist/forearm pain from keyboard/mouse overwork. Are there more ergonomic mice anybody recommends? Just using Apple's keyboard/mouse set up currently.
IMHO, you just can't build a CPG company the way you would a tech company. There are a lot of CPG companies that generate a lot of buzz but will likely go under within a few years because they're too dependent on venture-backed capital.
When you're dealing with agricultural resources, manufacturing, distribution, etc, it's a slower company to build and the business model has to work from day 1.
