I found some time in the middle of the day to play at the stream beside our school. Thank you to the science team for inviting me to be a part of your watershed lessons. Pretty neat! (I should’ve taken more pictures.)
💚
I want to thank @GovernorVA for signing Lucia’s Law into law today, on the third anniversary of her murder.
I’m beyond grateful that we could come together in a bipartisan way to pass meaningful legislation that was necessary for the Commonwealth.

Spring is in the air! The big "ACE Spring Plant" sale is coming soon! Come out and get the best student grown flowers/vegetables anywhere! This year's plant sale will be bigger than ever! Come see our new facility! @HenricoSchools @MacBeaton2 @HenricoCitizen @henricorecparks
I saw a recent grad last night whose Alg2 class I helped in regularly last year.
She ran up and exclaimed, “Mrs. Shea I’m taking math in college and doing well! You taught me how to ‘think math’ and not give up on a problem.”
And with that my bucket overflowed.🥰
QMS gymnatorium packed for 3 shows of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. this weekend!!! 🥀💛💙
Congrats Ms. Bell, cast & crew for a thoroughly entertaining show!!
I am looking forward to Q (and all our MS) having true auditoriums in next few years for productions, concerts, and more.
ALT QMS Gym with stage full of chairs and people. Students on stage.
Skipwith such a joyful building of learners and educators. 🎉 ❤️🖤
Several members of HEF’s Board of Directors (Diane Tidwell, Chasity Miller, and Kim Sutton) took time out of their busy schedules to join HEF staff Michael Wertz and Jay Shively on a visit to @SkipwithES. Skipwith's Learning & Discovery after school program Center Director CJ Jackson, provided a tour of the program and explained the various enrichment excursions offered to elementary students in this popular and successful program offered at nine @HenricoSchools.

Thank you @henricogives for your continued support. From the Freeman Portal, to Maverick Scholars, to She IS DSF, to Mavs United…. We are building a Freeman Family for ALL with the community behind us making it possible.

We The People day is one of my favorites! Authentic demonstrations of student learning should be the norm; they are a lot of work (shout out peck, fabian and szot!) but absolute game changers! Nothing like the nervous/excited vibe in the library on WTP morning!
I will miss working with @RoscoeCooperIII on the schools side but glad to have him on the other side still serving Henrico.
Maybe I’ll come visit you during public comment @RoscoeCooperIII. I’ll start thinking of my alias now 🤣
I am so grateful to serve our students, staff, and families for another 4 years.
Thank you, Tuckahoe, for this tremendous honor!
Thank you, @acolejohnson Chief of Family & Community Engagement, for sharing areas of need and opportunities for engagement in the Tuckahoe district as part of River Road Church’s community forum tonight.

So grateful that our public servants would be so generous with their time and that the community is behind us with Project Maverick! Thanks for a great morning fielding questions from our seniors! Today was a great day at DSF! #FF4A
Love my principals!
Such a fun night for the DSF community last night and the Q cheerleaders represented the Griffins so well!!
I spent the night hanging out with the @QMSGriffins Cheerleaders at the @DSFAthletics Homecoming Parade. Of course, I had to take a Tuckahoe District Secondary picture with @MarcieShea and @DSFMrMarshall.
Fun times!
“You’re going to make me keep practicing until I know how to do this aren’t you?”
Yup.
“SO ANNOYING!”
Ahhh. Middle school has arrived.
Friday Night Lights is one of the most exciting times of the week with all the student participation and community support.
However, it takes a lot of work.
Admin and ADs put in so much time to make sure student activities happen.
Thank you @GodwinPride and @DSFAthletics!!
