Brandin Podziemski played all 82 regular season games last year. Game #1 is in danger this season.
Joseph Dycus@joseph_dycus4h
Brandin Podziemski tweaked his back in practice yesterday, and did not practice. Is day to day. Kristaps Porzingis will not travel with the team to Los Angeles.

Good news for the Warriors. It will be interesting to see if the Warriors take more of a precautionary approach with Steph Curry in the hopes to avoid the kind of issue that cost him a huge chunk of last season. If they do, that means this ankle really is a minor, minor thing.

Steph Curry told Steve Kerr he’s fine. He tweaked his ankle, not his knee.

Wishing the best for Porzingis. Just a terrible situation all the way around. From a human perspective, this really stinks for him. For the Warriors, it handcuffs them. For the short term, it probably means for Lendeborg at the 4 and Draymond at the 5.

Hello people, I'm working with doctors and experts to figure out how to be fully back to good health asap. Honestly, I'm getting better and better. I just have to stay patient, and I believe I'll be feeling great again soon. It has definitely been frustrating dealing with some health stuff that you can't exactly pinpoint, on top of injuries throughout my career, so it has added up for sure, but we will get through it 💪🏼 Health is wealth. Thank you for all the support 🙏🏼

Porzingis being around the team is a positive step but still no information about when a return to the court could happen.

I wouldn’t play him any more minutes. Rest him until the regular season opener next Wednesday.

Left ankle twist for Yaxel Lendeborg on that third quarter drive. In some pain, walked it off, shot the free throws. Warriors then fouled to get him out and he went to the locker room. Wasn't limping. His stat line tonight: 17 pts, 5 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls.
