Obedience is only impressive when it's reflexive, immediate, and enthusiastic. She is focused, enthusiastic, positive, and of one mind to please.
The better part of blue hour doesn't really last a full hour. This enchanting window—right before night's veil falls—lasts about 30 minutes, sadly. All beauty is fleeting in a Universe that is constantly moving and shifting energies. Carpe crepusculum. :-)
One politician says something I agree with. The other does, too. Yet both harbor inane ideologies. I see a Golden Path forward and want to sweep aside the tribal stupidity diverting us from it. I can feel myself gradually turning into a supervillain.

Pay attention to what someone reveals early on. It's rare that jealousy, anger, deception, betrayal, or defiance happen only once. The moment they occur and quickly recede, you are only seeing the tip of the iceberg, no matter how well hidden or explained away they are.
