BREAKING: Reports indicate ICE agents have been told the FBI will no longer investigate certain confrontations involving ICE personnel. The move would reduce independent federal oversight of immigration enforcement at a time when the agency is already under intense scrutiny following recent deadly incidents involving ICE agents. If true, this raises serious questions about accountability. No federal law enforcement agency should be beyond independent investigation. Enough is enough.
