The future of the church is impossibly bright--not because of us, but because of the excellency of CHRIST THE KING.

Repentance is different than damage-control.
If you have wronged someone deeply, you don't initially release a public letter about it. If you're truly repentant, you go directly to that person and confess your sin in brokenness.
Any public words come after the private work.

The most countercultural thing a Christian can do right now is sit quietly with an open Bible and a closed phone. Most of us won't do that today.

When Trump gives the World Cup trophy, there needs to be a synchronized B2 flyover where he just points at it and then says the trophy is staying in America and that there’s nothing that anyone without a B2 can do about it.

It's insane that we're constantly having this conversation about whether kids should be allowed in restaurants etc, meanwhile people bring their dogs everywhere. We now live in a society where dogs are more welcome in public than human children. It's psychotic.

Being a parent is a lot of work. Some years we just tell the kids, “Like the tomb, the Easter baskets are empty.”
We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

ALT A full disk image of Earth, as seen from the Orion capsule. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. From about 8 to 9 o'clock, a large brown landmass is Africa, with the Iberian peninsula twinkling with lights just where the planet curves. At the 1 o'clock spot, aurora glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space. Credit: NASA/Reid Weisman

Last night, 95% of Republican primary voters said that Sharia Law should be BANNED in Texas.
There is a 100% certainty that Sharia Law will be completely banned in Texas this next session.
This comes on the heels of the ban on Sharia Cities that I signed last year.

Christian ethics does not start with "what works," but with "what is." Christian ethics is grounded first in ontology and only then expressed in practice. Being precedes doing, and the givenness of reality establishes the horizon within which moral action operates.

It really is simple: do not impede law enforcement operations. Claiming the mantle of civil disobedience does not confer automatic moral legitimacy in every instance, especially when the standards used to define legitimacy—common in leftist frameworks—are contested, superficial, and self-generated.
