Simulations are awesome! I try to use them to make results that might be well known in the scientific community accessible to a broader audience.

Why is it really cold in the mountains? It sounds like a simple question, but it is actually really not that trivial. I did a lot of digging, and came up with a few simple interactive simulation models to illustrate some key concepts, that lead to cold mountains. #ScieneTwitter

There is a wonderful new video about "The Most Misunderstood Concept in Physics" - Entropy by @veritasium Though, actually I would say ENERGY is the most misunderstood concept and as a consequence ENTROPY is the most neglected one. youtu.be/DxL2HoqLbyA

In ~90% of the time, when people are talking about energy, they should actually be talking about entropy.

Simulation is the best way to learn anything, and I would highly recommended using it to learn why it's cold up on mountains.

In my new video I explore how you can use the new AI #ChatGPT and #threejs to create 3D animations. It is wild! youtu.be/1pB0nIZ04SA
What a beautiful example of a Monte Carlo simulation!
My new story out today is about a technological revolution that has made it harder for politicians to get away with gerrymandering. But some fear it could also threaten minority voting rights. Can computer simulations help fix democracy? washingtonpost.com/politics/…

Why do whips crack? I kind of accidentally created a model of a whip that shows this quite beautifully, I think...🧵

In case you are interested, I used @openmm_toolkit to run the #Simulation , and @matplotlib for plotting. #Physics #compchem
