You can tell by people remarks on Thanksgiving… 1. They’ve never hosted anything. 2. Never planned anything. 3. Doesn’t grocery shop or shop for large gatherings. 4. Can’t cook or doesn’t cook. They just show up.

I’m not mad at it🤷🏽‍♀️ I think everyone should contribute in some way, even if not financial. Hosting is A LOT. And many traditions die because the onus falls on one or a few. cc: family reunions
