There IS consensus on vegan diets for cats. It’s animal abuse. Cats are obligated to carnivores. PETA tried having a “vegan lion”. The animal starves because their bodies do not get the proper nutrients from plant based foods.

hmm if i’m being completely honest, my cats eat a carnivore diet because there isn’t enough consensus on the benefits of a vegan diet from experts in the field for me to feel comfortable switching. it’s one of my only imperfect vegan moments but i can’t hurt my cats
