David Nandwa of HoneyCoin, said banks have woken up to the fact that fintechs need them:
“The reality is we still need the custodians, we still need the lenders so they don't go away.”
He welcomed how many banks were in attendance this year.
The sequence of adoption is taking shape: Businesses that can count the cost go first, stablecoin disappears into the product, and the bottleneck moves to the cash at either end.
Reserves likely come next. Capital held onchain should earn. That’s Maple’s world.
More tomorrow. Views are the speakers'. Any typos are mine.

Kate Walton, Global Head of Product Solutions & Agentic Commerce, J.P. Morgan
She expects liability won't fall on the consumer.
