🇸🇬 LONGITUDE: Why are traditional asset managers looking to move assets onchain? Cheaper capital.
“They're looking at the onchain cost of capital and thinking it's quite a bit lower than what they could borrow for in traditional finance,” @maplefinance's @syrupsid.
The next stage of institutional onchain credit needs fiat infrastructure that moves as fast as the lending book does.
Maple has established a banking relationship with IRACE Digital Bank, covering institutional cash management, fiat settlement, and payments between Maple and its institutional counterparties.
