#ACDC Trivia Question #6,065: At AC/DC’s final PWR UP show in NJ, longtime lighting director Cosmo Wilson gave me one last hug and, out of the blue, the band’s final setlist. Thanks, Cosmo!
How many songs from AC/DC’s Power Trip comeback show nearly three years earlier were missing from their final setlist? Bonus points if you can name them! @acdc @cosmokazi #PWRUP #SundayMorning #Setlist

The Brent complex has been getting hammered by a brutal triple-whammy lately: depressed tanker rates dumping Americas barrels into Europe, steady inflows of Saudi crude out of Yanbu, and regional refining margins getting choked out by skyhigh landed values.
Today was especially ugly—Vitol, Total, and Shell came out swinging on the offer, dragging NSea physic diffs off a cliff. Financial spreads naturally caught the contagion.
And yet, the tape violently ripped the nanosecond those E/W pipeline rumors hit the wire. Is the Meds that terrified of losing Red Sea supply? Brent is outstripping WTI.
What’s truly wild is this isn’t just a front end squeeze; the entire curve is reacting in unison. That just shows you how catastrophically fragile this market is to any headline risk. That’s what happens when you torch nearly every systemic buffer just to keep a temporary lid on prices.
Today’s aggressive sellers might be looking at their screens in absolute agony right now!

Couldn’t sleep thanks to a higher dose of Concerta that I took late in the day (I’m an idiot). Decided the best course of action was to fire up the ol’ Victrola & play some tunes. I’ve been playing this one a lot lately (posted about it a week or two ago). #GuerreFroide #ColdWave

🔱 On the End of the Holy Trinity (Best, Law, Charlton)
Manchester United experienced a turbulent decade of transition, managerial instability, relegation, and eventual revival during the 1970s.
Following the retirement of Sir Matt Busby, the club faced the dismantling of its legendary "Holy Trinity" generation and dropped into the Second Division before bouncing back to major cup and league success.
Key Managers of the 1970s
📌 Wilf McGuinness (1970–1970):
Appointed from within as Busby's successor, he struggled to control an aging squad and off-field distractions. Sacked in December 1970
📌 Frank O'Farrell (1971–1972): Brought in after a brief Busby return, he started strongly but was dismissed in December 1972 after a sharp league decline.
📌 Tommy Docherty (1972–1977): Revitalized the club with an exciting, attacking style, winning the 1977 FA Cup.
📌 Dave Sexton (1977–1981): Replaced Docherty and steered the team toward stability and a runner-up finish

The Muslim Brotherhood AKA @BBC strikes again...
BBC's new doc "Being Muslim After 9/11" is the usual script: 25 years of Muslims as the real victims of 9/11.
Planes hit the towers, thousands died, the West got the fallout in blood and security but the story is mosque attacks, "trauma," and media "caricatures."
No room for the 7/7 bombings, Manchester, the grooming scandals, the polls on sharia, or the extremists who keep proving the point.
When do we get "Being Non-Muslim After the Islamist Attacks"?
Or is that not the narrative?

Recently a GPF subscriber asked about the likelihood of the Iran war ending with a forced compromise on Iran's nuclear program that would just bring the U.S. right back to the same place. At this point in the war, the nuclear program is secondary to the oil crisis. The U.S. certainly does not want Iran to become a nuclear power, but it seems to me that they are unable to create a nuclear weapon in the near future.
Oil is a weapon that Iran and the Houthis can use to destabilize the global economy. Simply ending the war opens the door to many unpleasant actions by Iran. In the absence of the U.S. in the Middle East, Iran is a major regional power. Turkey and Pakistan may try to break Iran, but the cost would be high, and it is not certain that they are in position yet to wage a war against Iran. So abandoning the war does not necessarily end the oil crisis, and it potentially leaves Iran free to operate in the region, effecting not only energy prices but also the geopolitical structure of U.S. power in the region.
Whatever you think of the war, the fundamental issue is oil prices and availability. And regional powers probably can’t break Iran without U.S. help. Wars are easy to start and hard to stop, especially if you are not in a position to impose your will on the enemy.

US sanctions and a naval blockade are increasingly targeting the financial networks and security structures sustaining the Islamic Republic, raising questions about whether economic pressure can force political change, experts said on Iran International's Insight.
“The thing about sanctions, if they're on the books but not enforced, they only hurt the people,” Kerrie Bitsoff, a former senior official at the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and a proliferation and terrorism financing analyst, said.
The discussion, hosted by Fardad Farahzad, brought together Bitsoff, Patrick Clawson, the Morningstar senior fellow at the Washington Institute, and Mohammad Machine-Chian, a senior economist and analyst at Iran International, to examine whether Washington's economic campaign could achieve what decades of sanctions have failed to accomplish.

The economics of $ZONE’s West Texas JV are also worth understanding.
Zone Frontier owns 99% of the venture and can contribute up to $100 million, while receiving its capital back plus a 12% preferred return before the remaining profits are split 80/20 in its favor.
The venture can support up to $2 billion in capital commitments.

$ZONE Zone Frontier is developing powered data center campuses for the AI infrastructure boom:
-Its Minnesota project is 100% pre-leased to Cerebras under a 10-year agreement worth roughly $800 million
-The campus is designed for 55 MW of utility power and 40 MW of critical IT capacity, with additional capacity expected online by Q1 2027
-In West Texas, Zone Frontier owns 99% of a JV targeting an initial 200 MW and potentially more than 500 MW by 2030
-The company’s new 4,077-acre Texas site surrounds an existing 345 kV substation, putting power infrastructure directly at the center of the development thesis
The opportunity for $ZONE is straightforward: secure land and power first, then lease that capacity to companies that need somewhere to run enormous amounts of AI compute.
