🇵🇸🇸🇲“The Palestinian people have an inalienable right to self-determination and to their own State. The suffering in Gaza cannot become the new normal. 6 We call for a permanent ceasefire and for full, safe and unhindered humanitarian access. Humanitarian assistance must reach those who need it. Civilian lives must be protected. UNRWA and other humanitarian organizations must be able to operate. In the West Bank and East Jerusalem, settlement expansion, settler violence, land appropriation, demolitions and evictions must stop. The situation is rapidly deteriorating amid unprecedented levels of settler violence and settlement expansion, including the unacceptable decision to publish tenders for the E1 settlement project. These developments undermine the possibility of a viable Palestinian State. The Status Quo of Jerusalem’s holy sites must be respected. All communities, including Christian communities, must be protected. Last year, San Marino endorsed the New York Declaration for a two-State solution. 7 Following a unanimous mandate from our Parliament, the Great and General Council, San Marino recognized Palestine as a sovereign and independent State, within secure and internationally recognized borders and in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions. We stand by that decision. There is no alternative to two States living side by side in peace, security and mutual recognition. The window for that solution is narrowing. We must act now.”

🇵🇸🇹🇯“The situation in Palestine remains a matter of deep concern to Tajikistan. The continuing suffering of civilians must end. We reiterate our call for a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, and access to humanitarian assistance. Our position remains principled and consistent. A just and lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue and diplomacy in accordance with international law and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations. Tajikistan reaffirms its support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign state of Palestine, based on the 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital, living side by side with Israel in peace and security.”
