What Elon is doing has been a long time coming, and it highlights how feckless Congress has been (and GOP has controlled the House the majority of the past 15 years)…
When Congress passes massive omnibus bills that nobody reads, it effectively forfeits the power of the purse to the bureaucracy. When Congress cedes its most potent weapon, it gives license for bureaucrats to engage in bad behavior and creates the type of culture of corruption that has been revealed by @DOGE
