#OrianaPower Faith is a good thing, may be best of things and no good thing ever dies!! I have faith in Oriana leadership and they delivered Actis deal’s first tranche closure. Stock price is a different story but haven’t seen any noticeable gap in what leadership claims to do and their actions. @Finstor85 @Alchemist1320

This is exactly the mindset of championship winners. In that moment, only winning the next point matters. A big lesson hidden in here…

One of my core strategies is "Trading around a Core". Since I adopted this around 4 years ago, my results became a lot smoother and I started consistently making money. (I have a quick post on the website if you want to read it.) A recent example is when I purchased $RDDT in the 130s earlier this year, check out my free-to-read, easy-to-understand article on it too, under the articles tab or on SS. It then rebounded to 180–200 and I trimmed shares. Post-print, when it fell, I pyramided into shares at 147, 144, 141, and 138s, and actually went overweight on this name. (Additional shares besides my core) Now that we have bounced 28% in 2 weeks (or 700% annualised using Wall Street math), I can offload these shares, selling more on the way up while keeping the core shares. Trading around a core.

Thoughts on $UBER, Neo Clouds, $GOOG, $TSLA, $APP, $PYPL and more… Today, $UBER sold off after the Waymo news. Whether I’m right or wrong about $UBER isn’t really the point. What interests me is how quickly the market starts questioning a business once it thinks the moat might be weakening. Stocks don’t need the business to collapse. Investors simply need to believe tomorrow won’t be as good as yesterday. Look at $ADBE, $PYPL, and $FI. All three looked objectively cheap at different points. Yet they kept getting cheaper because the market wasn’t debating today’s earnings. It was debating tomorrow’s economics. That also makes me think about capital allocation. Investors love buybacks, but buybacks aren’t automatically great capital allocation. They only create value if the business you’re buying becomes more valuable over time. If the market is correctly identifying that the moat is weakening, buying back billions of dollars of stock may actually destroy shareholder value instead of creating it. A stock can look statistically cheap and still become dramatically cheaper if investors believe the future economics are deteriorating. Sometimes the market is wrong. Sometimes it’s simply repricing a business whose future has changed. I’ve made this argument about $UBER for a long time. Investors don’t need to see the entire business disrupted overnight. They only need to see a few major cities like SF, LA, or NY start getting penetrated by autonomous fleets from $GOOG and eventually $TSLA. Once the narrative changes, the multiple usually changes long before the financials do. This also makes me think about the so called Neo Clouds. Today’s economics look incredible because demand is greater than supply. But what happens when supply catches up and everyone starts competing on price? I don’t know exactly when that’ll happen, but I struggle to believe competing against $GOOG and $AMZN is bullish for anyone’s long term margins. I think investors often confuse scarcity with a moat. They’re not the same thing. A shortage creates pricing power. A moat protects pricing power after the shortage disappears. Those are two completely different things. One lesson I’ve learned over the years is that extraordinary margins attract extraordinary competition. High returns are like a giant sign that says, “Come compete with me.” Capital always flows toward the best economics until those economics become far more ordinary. Perhaps that’s the invisible elephant in the room for $APP? Generally speaking, in transportation one thing I’ve learned is that when technology improves and competition increases, the biggest long term winner is usually the customer. Better service, lower prices, more convenience, etc. That’s fantastic for society, but it doesn’t always translate into fantastic returns for shareholders. Maybe I’m completely wrong. Maybe $UBER moat proves much stronger than I think, and maybe the Neo Clouds keep earning exceptional margins for another decade. But whenever I see extraordinary economics, I always ask myself one simple question. “Who wants those margins?” Because history has shown that if the answer is everyone or the 800lb gorillas, those margins rarely stay extraordinary forever. Happy Friday to you all and thank for reading! 🌹

Can’t wait for the world cup to be over, so we can go back to football being discussed by those who actually watch and know it.

Semiconductor stocks have become a pretty boring topic here on FinX. If you weren't buying these names months ago, or better yet, back in 2025 (or earlier), I don't think there's much to get excited about as a fresh buyer in 2026. Can they still go higher? Absolutely. Are you likely to make life-changing money buying them here? Probably not. If you've got a low-cost basis, by all means keep riding the trend. But let's be honest: the easy money has already been made, and the risk/reward isn't nearly as compelling as it once was. I'd much rather spend my time hunting for the next leaders before everyone else finds them.

Keep calm and trust @SixSigmaCapital methodology!! Long $SE $META - After trading them around core, I am looking at net cost basis 70$ for SE and 509$ for Meta. Now time to do best part - DO NOTHING!!

Counter intuitive but following the market too closely is a negative... One will over react to small things and expend a lot of mental energy. Conversely, checking less often probably means you will be sharper and pick up on trend shifts quicker.

Oriana growth moderation was not specific to company but sector specific…ground reports suggest module prices are cooling off and solar contracts offtake increasing so good FY27 should be loading In any case , its trading 30-40% discount to peers and unlike its many peers , promoters don’t have 3-4 companies in renewable and no conflict of interest Balance sheet is in good shape …good credit ratings …ACTIS monetisation will further create scope for more work It’s just I wish management had hired an IR agency and do regular investor meets like other companies so that cap table had stronger names and funds…management seems to be waiting for mainboard to do all this which is pain for existing holders and opportunity for others

One thing I have learned in @SixSigmaCapital's discord is if you cut the noise and focus on your own method working around his names, you will certainly outperform in mid to longer timeframe. Just need strong conviction and non emotional mindset.

This market environment is definitely unlike any I have ever seen. There are more quality businesses on sale for a prolonged period than at any point besides the fleeting crashes, yet the crazy thing is buying them now will most likely still not yield returns in the short term. Given the market is focused on AI, semis, and hardware. This is also not unwarranted given how fast those companies are growing right now. Interesting times!

This a really good post. Investing/trading is an arena where you learn a lot about yourself.
Not a popular subject on here but a good time to focus on studying, philosophy, why you make poor decisions, getting away from ruminating on every poor decision you’ve made, finding passions outside trading to focus on, etc. The not fun stuff;) Until you understand yourself, it’ll be hard to understand trading bc it’s really just a mirror of yourself & your own emotions.
