It's really crazy how history just doesn't exist to people. Cave Story Meat Boy Sword & Sworcery Terraria All of these made by Millennials who grew up on 16-bit games, released before or during the "Cambrian Explosion" of Pixel Art games.

Pixel Art communities were insanely popular in the early 2000s. People were sharing huge pixel art works made in GiMP on a 1px grid. Cave Story came out 4 years after the last SNES release. Sure, there are artists today making pixel art who didn't experience CRT gaming, but they've simply carried the torch of the aging gamer millennial artists who resurrected it.

Friend's wife I thought was based told me she had SO MUCH sympathy for Lindsay Clancy because she had PPD with her first child. Then went on to completely misunderstand the trial and the implications of some of the evidence.

She finished with a story about how her grandmother heard voices that told her to poison herself, but that she got help and got better. And all of this leads to her "having reasonable doubt" that Lindsay Clancy was sane, or that she even killed her kids.

The reasons the female jurors give included in the article are actual Looney Tunes. Prosecution was too mean. Defense was compassionate and funny. Witnesses said Lindsay was loving... before the murder. Prosecution was biased. There is no such thing as a "jury of your peers" unless you're 90 IQ and Longhouse-pilled.

Got DLSS working for Elden Ring. I know other people have released solutions, but the journey is fun. Learning along the way how some of this tech works. Not complete yet. Still need to work toward neural rendering. Took most of my weekly tokens to get this far.

Gonna figure out how to apply DLSS 5 to modded OG FF7 because that'll be 10x as fun as playing Remake/Rebirth.

Went to Target with my wife and son. Wife looking at clothes. Me chasing my son around while he hides in clothes racks having a blast. Some hag in problem glasses stopped my son, grabbing him with both hands. I was nearby of course and saw it immediately. "Hey, please don't touch my son." She gave me this weird smile. Wide-eyed, clearly surprised, but smiling defensively. "I was just trying to help. I have an autistic child." I stayed calm. Didn't yell or scowl. But those words struck her to her core. I told her "Yeah that's fine, just don't touch him" and kept walking. She kept repeating herself as we left. IDGAF about your background. Don't touch my son. I assume she's a Lindsay Clancy supporter.

Chicagoans never shut up about how much they love it. I went once for a wedding. Hit bars around Wrigley. Didn't feel safe despite the many police and CCTV cameras (obviously there for a reason). Don't hear much about Dallas, but maybe it's not deserving.
