In 2023, the Biden administration was asked by a bipartisan group of Congresspersons to change the “dates for filing” date on the October 2023 visa bulletin to “current” so that the high skilled workers of America could change jobs and be shielded from deportation that might come from a future administration. The tech companies went to the White House and strongly opposed this proposal. Had this proposal been enacted, there would have been no basis for this DOL investigation because no one would have been on H-1B visas anymore.

🚨 A MASS SHOOTING AT A HINDU TEMPLE NEAR CHICAGO WAS BEING PLANNED BY A WHITE SUPREMACIST.
THIS SHOULD TERRIFY EVERY AMERICAN.
19 year old Alexandros Paporakis allegedly planned to massacre Hindu worshippers. Police recovered a rifle, loaded magazines, HUNDREDS of rounds of ammunition, body armor, and a manifesto expressing HATRED toward Indians.
Imagine taking your children to a temple on a Sunday morning, completely unaware that someone may be preparing to SLAUGHTER your family simply because of your ethnicity or religion.
THIS IS HOW DEADLY RACIAL HATRED CAN BECOME.
For YEARS, HATE INFLUENCERS have turned demonizing Indians into a PROFITABLE BUSINESS.
Millions of impressions. Endless dehumanization. Racism disguised as political commentary.
ONLINE HATE DOES NOT STAY ONLINE.
IT CAN and HAS TURNED INTO REAL-WORLD TERRORISM.
We must HOLD these hate influencers ACCOUNTABLE for the hatred they push and normalize.
DO WE REALLY HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL INNOCENT INDIAN AMERICAN FAMILIES ARE MASSACRED BEFORE THIS COUNTRY TAKES ANTI-INDIAN HATRED SERIOUSLY?
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

You're awfully quiet about the Mexican drug cartels and drug smugglers smuggling fentanyl into the US and KILLING 300,000 Americans yearly.
I don't care about H1Bs and your Chinese award. I care about 300,000 Americans dying every year while you are trying to divert the issue with petty topics.
Are you really diverting the issue because-
1. China is paying you?
2. You want to take the attention away from the Mexican drug cartels who kill 300,000 Americans annually and use Indians as collaterals?
Of course, the H-1B simps are weaponizing Community Notes to stifle my work. The Dao Prize is not a "Chinese award," nor is it linked to the CCP, which anyone with more than two brain cells can figure out.
Dao Feng was politically persecuted by the Chinese government. It's why he believes in a free press.
@elonmusk Community Notes is being abused by bad actors, FYI.

Mr. Vice President, respectfully, let's ask the questions that matter.
Who created the H-1B program?
Who interviewed and hired the workers?
Who filed the petitions with USCIS?
Who reviewed and approved those petitions?
Who conducted the consular interviews and issued the visas?
Who verified and authorized entry into the United States?
And most importantly:
Who designed a system that ties skilled workers to their employers, creating conditions critics call "indentured servitude"?
And
Who benefited from their labor? Who profited?
These are the questions worth answering, not replacing with political talking points.
The workers didn't write the laws.
They didn't design the system.
They didn't create the employer dependency.
They followed the rules.
American lawmakers established the framework. American employers use it. American authorities administer it.
If the system is broken,
HOLD ITS ARCHITECTS ACCOUNTABLE.
HOLD THE LEADERS OF CORPORATIONS ACCOUNTABLE.
The H-1B worker didn't design the system.
The worker is only living with its consequences.

JD Vance: "Some of America's most elite universities bring in foreigners to undercut the wages of American residents. There are 9 universities in particular that we believe merit an investigation. Those are Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Brown, the University of Pittsburg, UC Davis, Cal Tech, Arizona State, and MIT."

Attack the Indian IT worker all you want. Call us names.
But get the story straight: we didn't sneak in. Your companies interviewed us, hired us, and invited us.
Indian H-1Bs gave their soul and commitment. Yes, we got a great place to work. And American tech became world-class, outran China and everyone else, and made money for all of us.
Now AI is here and Washington has decided it doesn't need us. That's okay.
But cursing us isn't a policy. It's a campaign slogan.
We'll find our own way. We always have

When Amazon brought me to Seattle to help build AWS, almost everyone at the org was an immigrant. The ratio was probably ~20:1. This “visa abuse” was what was necessary to create the biggest American companies in the history of commerce. The Seattle metro area became one of the wealthiest regions in the world because of this, but let’s shut the whole system down that made this possible.
BREAKING: The Trump administration is suspending Microsoft, Adobe, and several major IT outsourcing firms from a key employment-based green card program, accusing them of abusing the visa system at the expense of American workers.
Vice President JD Vance singled out Microsoft, saying the tech giant laid off 6,000 American workers while benefiting from 6,300 H-1B visas and nearly 3,000 green cards.
"You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."
The Labor Department says it will stop accepting new applications and processing pending applications from the targeted companies as federal investigations continue.

When Amazon hired me on an H-1B visa, Amazon was making losses for 10 straight years. It was operating out of a rented building where we worked on door desks in small cabins. I was in the initial team that built AWS.
Today AWS contributes more than 60% to Amazon's profit. The stock price has gone 300x. Amazon's buildings have changed the skyline of downtown Seattle. Jeff Bezos went on to become the world's richest man.
There were about a hundred H1B visa holders like me in the initial team of Amazon. Good luck building companies and wealth without these 'indentured servants'
Vice President JD Vance breaks down the data:
"If you are working as an H-1B visa in the United States of America, you’re earning $20,000 less than an American citizen hired in the same position. If you were brought in by one of these foreign outsourcing firms, you’re making $48,000 less than an American citizen in a similar position. So I’m sure that everybody here understands the game that is being played. You bring in indentured servants from outside the country, you lay off American workers and, if you’re a corporation, you make a ton of money by under cutting the wages of American workers, replacing them with people who frankly shouldn’t be in the United States of America to begin with."

JD Vance’s attack on Microsoft was deeply disingenuous, and Microsoft’s response exposes the fundamental flaw in his argument.
Vance compared layoffs with H-1B filings as though every visa petition represented an American worker being replaced.
Here is what Microsoft actually said:
“Of the approximately 6,000 H-1B visa applications we submitted in the last fiscal year, 80% percent were to extend or change the status of existing Microsoft employees. These were not to hire new people. The remaining filings for new employees were for individuals already legally in the United States who decided to come work for us, and they equal only 1% of our U.S. workforce. They are not new arrivals to our country.”
An extension is not a new hire. A visa transfer is not evidence of an American losing a job. And an H-1B petition is not proof of displacement.
If you want to investigate actual fraud, investigate it. If you want to protect American workers, protect them.
But don’t manipulate immigration statistics to manufacture a scandal.
America deserves an immigration debate grounded in facts, not political theater dressed up as arithmetic.

What a bunch of nonsense. Microsoft is a multinational company with offices in almost every major city in the world, and due to the nature of its operations there is no reason for employees to be in the United States. The government should be thanking Microsoft for hiring in Redmond instead of London or Dublin or Hyderabad.
Mr @VP, have you said thank you once?
.@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft."
Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.

Allegations without airtight documentation are just that: unfounded allegations.
Stop passing it off as fact, dullard.
Kelly, a Texas real estate license holder, testified at a Frisco City Council meeting about widespread housing and employment abuses tied to immigrants from India.
She described a system where Indian applicants qualify for apartments but vanish after approval, with friends or others taking keys and the original leaseholder returning to India, bypassing standard background checks and creating fair housing violations that could trigger MASSIVE lawsuits!
Once units go to Indian tenants, they sublease internally via Indian Facebook groups and apps, excluding all other races and nationalities. Fake tech companies hire entry-level H1Bs, pay for 10 apartments at a time, and supply groceries, while Americans lose jobs to these replacements and face evictions that block renting for 4-7 years!

PERM is basically a ritualistic process where firms conduct a "labor market test" to give their H-1B worker a green card so they can retain their employee. If a "minimally qualified" American applies for the job, the petition gets terminated. The American won't get hired though.
I'd imagine that these firms are going to respond by offshoring to other countries.

America has enjoyed the greatest free lunch in history: highly educated, highly skilled immigrants bringing their talent to its shores. Now it’s snatching defeat from the jaws of victory by turning away the truly best and brightest. These companies aren’t the visa abusers. The body shops exploiting the system are the ones that need to be shut down.
Vice President JD Vance announces the suspension of the PERM Program for Microsoft:
"Thanks to an ongoing investigation, we have decided to suspend the PERM program for Microsoft, which means they will no longer be able to take those H-1Bs and apply for permanent resident status within the United States of America. Now our message to Microsoft and to any other foreign or domestic corporation is quite simple. We obviously want you to thrive in the United States of America. We want people to invest in the United States of America, particularly the American technology sector. We’re the biggest boosters of your industry. We want you to continue to grow and to employ a lot of people, but we want you to employ American workers. And so our message to Microsoft is, you’re great American company, but you’ve got to hire great American workers. You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."

Trump DOL certified 98% of all Microsoft's PERM requests. THIS admin did that. Are all his adjudicators in on this "fraud"? They hate the program and want to kill it, but don't have the legal authority, so they make up the law and slander one of America's best companies.

Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger came to the US on an F-1 visa and then used OPT to get an H-1B. He later decided to self-deport and told Kevin to find a replacement because his H-1B transfer kept getting delayed.
If this administration was in 2010 they would've abused Mike for stealing an American's job, coming on F-1 and using OPT to get H-1B. If the $100k order was passed, Mike would've returned back to Brazil and we wouldn't have Instagram.

Another prime example of a social media "journalist" selling out America to its adversaries.
@SaraGonzalesTX who is after H1B and Indians, is actually funded by the Chinese CCP and spreading their propaganda in the US.
China and India have tensions in the Indian ocean, and China is ramping up its anti-India propaganda as a counter measure.
It's shocking to see how far the Chinese CCP has come. They are literally funneling money into the US to interfere in our elections.
Makes sense why Sara Gonzalez has never spoken against the CCP and China.
This is blatant interference in US elections by foreign government and the authorities should investigate this.
