Now I won’t lie, boot chop does crash out in ranked but not to the extent of what is being assumed of
It’s crazy that Activision Blizzard, Inc. (REMINDER THE SAME COMPANY who owns CALL OF DUTY AND OVERWATCH) somehow was able to keep the CDL thriving at it’s most dogshit run MW19-BOCW when viewers were piss poor but somehow couldn’t manage to keep OWL thriving btw the most expensive salary in the CDL is $850k to a not even god tier player like scrap or huke
🚨 The CDL is set for a major expansion in 2027, with 359 matches planned compared to 286 in 2026.
Key changes include:
- A two-week Kickoff Minor featuring CDL and Challengers teams
- Two Pro-Am Majors
- A new 12-team play-in format for Major 3
- More Challengers integration throughout the season
- Public team votes determining Kickoff Minor seeding

→ Armor reduced from 325 to 275 (5v5).
→ Armor reduced from 300 to 250 (6v6).
Focused Fusion (Major Perk):
→ Damage per bullet reduced from 45 to 36.
Propulsors:
→ Fuel drain rate increased from 25 to 30.
Fusion Repeater:
→ Damage reduced from 16 to 15.
→ Cooldown increased from 4 to 5 seconds.
