Well met! I'm an anthropologist (PhD)!
My ethnographic research is on Hindu/Buddhist pilgrimage and sacred fossils (called Shaligrams) in the Himalayas of Nepal.
My new project focuses on robot religion in South Asia.
I also wrote "The Way By."

On the other hand, I have SCUBA certification as an underwater lionfish hunter.
I am deeply conflicted by this photo.
Given the kinds of comments I keep seeing on this monologue, let me add an anthropologist's two cents.

Women "wearing the wrong thing" gets us killed. That's not a joke. And rolling your eyes and telling every to relax because "it's just a joke" means that you don't actually know what humor is. Or what it does.

Nepal is lucky to have some very good private sector publishers - is there the capacity to launch a university press?
