How babus ask their favourite person, who gives them 20%, to list the product, whether or not he actually deals in that product, quote the lowest price, and then they select that listing by stating that it was the lowest bid.

Of course farmer leaders will support E20, after all, they are among its biggest beneficiaries. Many of them don't pay income tax, and plenty can afford to drive Audis, Mercedes, or even fill up with ₹160/litre premium petrol if they want.
The real people trapped by this policy are ordinary middle class taxpayers, who pay taxes for decades, save for years to buy a single car, and then have to deal with fuel related compatibility or maintenance concerns. And when something goes wrong, you're quick to tell them they must have filled their tank with "adulterated fuel" from some village well instead of acknowledging genuine concerns.

Farmer leaders have extended their support for E20 after meeting Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Earlier, prominent farmer leaders from Punjab and other states had expressed concern over Arvind Kejriwal’s campaign to mislead the middle class with misinformation about E20.
The farming community understands that higher ethanol blending creates a stronger market for agricultural produce, enhances farmers’ incomes, reduces India’s dependence on imported crude oil, and supports cleaner mobility.
Facts are prevailing over fearmongering.
