The appropriately named Midnight Jewel 💎 and her bonded best friend, Ruby (Flushing High) are both doing well.
They’re in a new pasture now, eating the green, green grass.
Jewel is 29, she looks like a younger horse. Most of her life, she was taken care of until she wasn’t.

Happy Rescue-Versary to Buggy Boy. He’s been here 3 years, happy and healthy with the love of his life, Edith.
He’s a gentle, kind old soul. 💕

June 2024
The regally bred Donya arrived from a TN “lot” where she’s been discarded 3 times 😳.
She’s home forever with us, and is quite happy. Pedigree doesn’t protect a horse, we all know that.
But her pedigree is very royal. She’s a queen here!
We still thank Full Circle Farm for bringing this girl to our attention. 💖

❤️ IT’S OFFICIAL — WE BOUGHT A FARM! 🐴🏡
After 14 years of dreaming, working, and believing, Unbridled Spirits Thoroughbred Retirement Ranch finally has a forever home to call our own!
We could not have made this possible without Rick Dawson, owner of 2022 Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike, and Mary Hoffman, dedicated aftercare advocate and beloved sponsor and heart human of I Am Awesome.
These two champions helped lead the way for USTRR, and we are forever grateful.
I wish we could bridge this gap for every Thoroughbred and work together to ensure aftercare organizations have the financial resources needed to provide lifelong, compassionate care.
Today, we celebrate a farm.
Tomorrow, we keep fighting for aftercare and the horses who gave us everything.
USTRR has a forever home. And this is only the beginning. ❤️🐴
TOT brought to you by Spirit.
It’s his eye, though, that stands out. 💜 He always had it, that eye, sharp and clear as a bell.

Speedy is doing well!
He needs to gain weight yet, and he will. He’s got a beautiful, shiny coat. 🤩🤩 A good sign.
Here, we rescue those in dire need; Speedy fit that category for sure. It is so hard to place an old stallion. But he’s home, safe and happy. He loves attention!
