Donald Trump hates Democrats. Some Republicans like that. Until they realize he also hates Republicans. And - don't forget Independents - he hates them too. He hates Ukraine AND Russia, Taiwan AND China, Israel AND Gaza. He hates places he doesn't know. He hates the Rule of Law more than anything. It's always in his way. He wants to change it, dictate it, be it, and wield it. You know who else he hates? He hates his followers. In fact, he not only hates them, but they nauseate and disgust him. He has all this hate and no love, because there's a metaphorical divot in his brain. It leaves him with no ability to feel empathy. No sense of shame. No capacity for contrition. No counterbalance to any of his malice. He cannot ever see beyond himself. He has no friends - the allies he has, are allies only as long as they are useful to him. And his children - are spawn. What DOES he have? Self-based cravings and impulses. Avarice. Desire for attention, adulation, money, power, revenge, domination, and his illusory vision grandiosity. He is a human id. He also hates that he's old, and that he's ill. He's as miserable as he is malign. When it's time, he wants to go out on his own terms. He is a narcissist, sociopath, fraudster, sexual deviant, and parasite. You couldn't build a worse person in a laboratory, with a trillion dollars of AI.

Psychopathologies as aberrant as Trump's are neither controllable nor curable. He cannot see beyond himself. EVER. He cannot feel empathy, shame, or contrition. I'm not saying that he WON'T feel those emotions, I'm saying that he CAN'T! It would be easier to teach a sightless person about color. Trump is comprised ONLY of impulses and cravings; he primarily feels fear, greed, insecurity, and rage/malice; he fears humiliation, he's forever insecure about achieving legitimacy, and craves the ability to portray grandiosity - which every malignant narcissist does. He loves that HE spoke at 9/11 today. But he's also old and ill and weakened. And, as Trump feels the sand exiting his hourglass, it sets forth an urgency in him to proclaim his grandiosity now, while he still can, and to proclaim it in a bigger, bolder way. This is why his main focus has been more global, his oratory more extreme, his posts more fantastical, his projects more personal, his grifts more substantial. He wants to leave a mark on the world - BUT - he processes that through simplicity and self. So, he talks and posts about changing names of things and changing maps. None of it makes political sense. Insulting Mexico by changing the name of New Mexico, even though it's a fake thing he'll never do, is a straight-on insult to the voting block he needs and is losing most. His threats and actions against Canada also make no sense and hurt Northern swing states. His designs against Greenland and recently Iceland, imperialistic designs, are fantastical - like Natalie's memes with him as Jesus or alongside George Washington - it's all to satisfy his thirst for greater global grandiosity. It also does one other thing - it keeps the narrative away from his risk - his potential for TRUE humiliation. I mean the BIGGIE - worse for him losing the midterms per se - it's losing the midterms AND that leading to another impeachment AND - much worse than even that - HIS MAIN FEAR - exposure of a lifetime of secrets and lies - the two most significant secrets being very topical now - Epstein and Putin. He's likely compromised by both and always wants to distract from them. His pathology is cemented. Left to his own devices, he could try to burn Democracy down. The non-easy answer to it all, comes from resistance with strength, exposure of his weaknesses with ridicule, and we MUST counter any and all normalization. The more loudly truths are spoken, the better it counters the gaslighting, which is becoming increasingly absurd. The more clearly the GOP feels they're losing constituent support, and spending $ in red states, the more their calculus changes about distancing from him and his most extreme designs sooner, and yet - he doesn't want them distancing, because that's another -- you guessed it - humiliation. The GOP is trapped. F*ck them. F*ck them all. When YOU feel anxiety and outrage, temper it with focus and perspective: Togetherness. Margin of victory. Sheer numbers. Don't focus on chaos and outrage. Remember that he's flailing. And he's compromised. And he's dying. And he's diminished. And his myth is badly tarnished. And he's miserable amidst his malice and mortality.

As a malignant narcissist, Trump takes every slight as a personal affront. He sees enemies in all disagreements. Now that he's old and ill, he suffers narcissistic injury more acutely. One of the things Trump does when he's feeling injured from a recent humiliation, is to sign an Executive Order or make a declaration which can be pointless, absurd, or childish; and often illegal and unconstitutional as well; but in so doing so, it allows him, and his disordered brain, to profess grandiosity. In his currently enfeebled state, which is likely to continue until the end of his miserable life, Trump needs to profess grandiosity more regularly or he'll melt or narcissistically collapse. And the more often he gets humiliated, which is pretty f*cking often these days, the more frequently and far-reaching his grandiose professing needs to be. Absurdity and boorishness is now his brand. He is a naked Emperor; a caricature; a punchline. He's a pathological mess.

As I predicted as soon as Ukraine began striking Russian refineries, Trump is going to blame Ukraine for gas prices & begin to pressure them to stop doing it. Once again, the US will side with Putin against a country fighting for its survival. We are morally bankrupt under Trump.
Bessent blames Ukraine for high gas prices: "Ukraine has decided that they want to blow up Russian energy assets and refined products, so that is creating upward price pressure on a global basis"

I feel like we got an emerging story yesterday that promises to become more significant in coming days. As many who follow me know, I speak incessantly about Trump's pathologies - how he can't see beyond himself - literally CAN'T - and how malignant narcissism is incurable, they always get worse, and at their end - they never want to go down alone. Yesterday - in response to GOP candidates and pundits imploring Trump to please start spending $ toward the midterms - and he's sitting on a war chest - Trump announced he would finally begin spending significantly on a campaign - a campaign to tout - HIM! How does that help the many GOP candidates running in races that are uncertain? It DOESN'T. What does this say? My take: Trump is now owned by his pathologies. He is defined by his narcissism and sociopathy. So - what this says is that he feels he's nearing his end ... and in danger of going down. In his disordered brain, HE is all that matters. He wants the GOP to focus on HIM, his designs, and put forth his reality. He really doesn't want to help them. He wants THEM to realize that HE is all there is. And so - if he goes down, they go down.

SCOTUS' John Roberts just entered a one-sentence order temporarily staying a lower court ruling, thus allowing construction of Trump's ballroom while the court further considers Trump's appeal. You know, I seem to recall that Roberts recently told the AP that it bothers him when people think SCOTUS is acting in a politically partisan way. He's said this multiple times. In fact, it seems as though the asshole pretty much says it every time they make a f*cked-up ruling that is blatantly and unashamedly politically partisan.

Good morning, everyone. The sky is blue. My dog is a good boy. Trump is a delusional old man. He needs an aide like Natalie Harp. Because she is ALWAYS there. Trump is also ill and incontinent. He needs an aide like Natalie Harp. Because she'll do ANYTHING. Trump is also despised, distrusted, tanking in the polls, and regularly warding off humiliations. He needs an aide like Natalie Harp, because she provides him with increasingly elusive grandiosity, which he ingests as much-needed narcissistic counterbalance. It's a good time to reiterate that this media narrative which states that "Trump prizes loyalty" and the resultant characterization of Natalie Harp as loyal, is misstated and misconstrued. Normal loyalty, like you and I may have with our friends, is reciprocal. Normal loyalty, like you and I may have with our friends, is between equals. Trump NEVER seeks normal loyalty, because in his mind, he has no equal. He is all that matters, so he doesn't ever seek the kind of loyalty that is diluted with loyalty elsewhere, like to a family, country, constitution, or constituency. He only ever wants FEALTY ... to ONLY him. As a vassal would show to a king. Natalie Harp provides him with this as well - another person who sees him as the total universe. Jon Ossoff struck a nerve - NOT because he implied anything untoward of Natalie Harp - he didn't. But she IS a symbol of the four things mentioned above - his delusions, his illness, his desperation to hold onto grandiosity, and his need for absolute fealty. Take the Trump/Harp relationship out of normalcy. Because it has none. Once you do that, you see how exaggerative her nature is - and that's saying it nicely - and more important, that her constant presence expose HIS weakness. It's a disordered relationship for each of them and a subset of his far greater disorders. Have a nice day!

I wanted to use Trump's threat to levy 50% tariffs on Canada and Canada's in-his-face response to discuss the underlying behavioral reasons for Trump being so fixated on tariffs. Trump has no strategy or depth. He has cravings. And two of the cornerstone cravings for Trump, especially now that he's playing out his final chapter on Earth, are greed and grandiosity. These two things, which interrelate, underly almost everything - he is a giant id. He wants awards, he wants things named after him, he wants oil from this country and a piece of this company and $10B here and billions more there, and all of that is but a subset of what he really wants, which is the knowledge, belief, and portrayal that he can do whatever the f*ck he wants - the ultimate grandiosity. The legacy media always tries to understand Trump's stubborn fixations by normalizing him and asking: "What's he thinking?" Allow me AGAIN: Trump doesn't think; HE FEELS. He lusts. He craves. And he likes how tariffs make him feel, because he can be a bully, impose his will, make and remove threats, and cause countries to do his bidding and pay him tribute arbitrarily. THEY FUEL HIS GRANDIOSITY. How much more American consumers, businesses, and importers pay, is immaterial. None of that matters to Trump. Prices don't matter. Inflation doesn't matter. People don't matter. America doesn't matter. Bullying, imposing his will, being the center of attention, and threatening others, is the essence of what a malignant narcissist does. Carney knows that and realizes that this is where America is at present. It's like America didn't even elect a person. It elected a thing, a parasite, a pathology.

"A German officer found a starving Jewish man hiding in the ruins of Warsaw. Instead of killing him, he asked one question that changed everything. November 1944. Warsaw was a graveyard. The Nazis had crushed the Polish uprising. Buildings lay shattered. Streets were empty except for patrols hunting survivors. Władysław Szpilman had been hiding for months. Before the war, he'd been Poland's most celebrated pianist—playing Chopin on Warsaw Radio while the city danced. Now he was a ghost, surviving on scraps in abandoned buildings. Then the footsteps came. Captain Wilm Hosenfeld of the Wehrmacht discovered Szpilman in an attic. The starving man froze. This was the end. But Hosenfeld didn't raise his weapon. He asked: ""What are you doing here?"" Szpilman told him he'd been a pianist. Hosenfeld's eyes changed. He pointed to a dusty piano in the corner. ""Play something."" So there, in the frozen ruins of a destroyed city, a Jewish man who hadn't touched a piano in years played Chopin's Nocturne in C-sharp minor. His fingers moved from memory. The melody filled the bombed-out room. When the last note faded, Hosenfeld stood in silence. Then he asked where Szpilman was hiding. Not to arrest him. To help him. For weeks, Hosenfeld returned secretly—bringing bread, jam, a warm coat. Helping a Jewish man meant execution if discovered. He came anyway. In December, as German forces prepared to retreat, Hosenfeld visited one last time. He left extra food and his own military blanket. ""Hold on,"" he told Szpilman. ""The Soviets are coming. The war will end soon."" Szpilman gave him his name. ""Remember it. If you ever need help—Szpilman, Polish Radio."" He never saw Hosenfeld again. Szpilman survived. He returned to Warsaw Radio. His first broadcast after liberation? Chopin's Nocturne in C-sharp minor—the same piece he'd played for the officer who saved his life. Hosenfeld didn't survive. Captured by Soviet forces, he was convicted as a war criminal simply for being a German officer. The Soviets ignored testimonies about his humanitarian acts. Szpilman spent years trying to save him. He contacted officials, wrote letters, begged anyone who would listen. It wasn't enough. In 1952, Wilm Hosenfeld died in a Soviet prison camp. He was 57. He never learned that the pianist he'd rescued had tried everything to rescue him in return. Decades later, Szpilman's memoir became the film ""The Pianist,"" winning three Academy Awards. In 2009—57 years after his death—Hosenfeld was finally recognized by Yad Vashem as ""Righteous Among the Nations."" His family accepted the honor he never lived to receive. One question. One piece of music. Two men on opposite sides of history's greatest horror—connected by a moment when humanity won. Szpilman lived to 88. He spent his final years making sure the world remembered the German officer who chose mercy when he could have chosen murder. Because sometimes the most powerful resistance isn't a weapon. It's a piano. "

Trump is frantically flailing as he struggles to force-feed the narrative. He has become a caricature, reviled globally, distrusted universally, and all he does is put forth false and hyperbolic claims in a desperate attempt to convey grandiosity while warding off increasingly frequent humiliations. In fairness to him, he is a malignant narcissist, with deep underlying insecurities, progressive cognitive decline, a miniscule vocabulary, an inability to pivot, very little patience, below average intelligence, with a transactional sensibility requiring instant gratification, nobody he can fully trust, with an inability to admit imperfection or fault, with a lifetime of secrets and lies he must protect against exposure, and polls that are so underwater that they threaten turning everything he is, was, or claimed to be - into a collapsing House of Cards. So, he's understandably upset.

Trump had another hypomanic episode today, where he made post after post after post. We know his recent days have been punctuated by multiple humiliations, the reflecting pool fiasco hit him hard, and the Iran war keeps frustrating him and trapping him through his own incompetence. That last part - his own incompetence - is the key. And it's no surprise that he's now begun talking about "getting into heaven" and that - amid recent his hypomanic posts - are AI images of himself where he is glorified and God-ly. I think this is a condition known as NARCISSISTIC MORTIFICATION. It is brought on when a narcissist experiences extreme fear. Narcissistic Mortification occurs when a narcissist like Trump crosses over to a place where he actually sees visions of his own demise (thus visions of heaven and likening himself to God). Sure, his age and ill health play a role, but it's deeper than that. It's about humiliation, and in recent days, he's had many. To a malignant narcissist, THE most extreme fear of all, is ultimate irrevocable humiliation - like being exposed as a forever fraud, failure, or loser. He fears losing the Iran conflict in front of the entire world, he totally fears the Epstein files, and as Putin now falters seriously, he fears being exposed by whatever he has on him. And his polling is at an all-time low. All these things are omnipresent, in his face, simultaneous, and totally unresolved. In more psychological terms, narcissistic mortification is when one with a rigidly grandiose pathology sees his sense of self as exposed, defective or inferior. It was coined by Freud in his book Moses and Monotheism. It's described there as deep injuries to ego/self, triggered by ONE'S OWN compulsiveness (him starting a war and f*cking it up) and ONE'S OWN weaknesses (his sins with Epstein). Grandiosity diminishes, leading to terror and disorientation --- because it all as a result of HIS OWN frailty and fault. There actually IS a wiki page for narcissistic mortification (which surprised me) and here's an interesting sentence from it, that I thought I'd echo here to end this post: Narcissistic Mortification is "the primitive terror of self-dissolution, triggered by the sudden exposure of one's sense of a defective self ... to a narcissist, it is death by embarrassment."

Why do people freeze when someone says or does something completely unexpected? It's because our brains are wired to make sense of patterns, and when normal patterns or scripts are suddenly disrupted, we become more vulnerable to suggestion. That’s what NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), a system developed from Ericksonian hypnosis, calls a pattern interrupt. I believe Donald Trump repeatedly uses this technique, and it's so important to recognize it. For decades, I've studied hypnosis, undue influence, and authoritarian systems, and one tactic I've seen again and again is deliberately creating confusion. When people are shocked or disoriented, their critical thinking can temporarily weaken, making them more susceptible to influence. I wrote about Trump's use of this in my book, The Cult of Trump. This is why authoritarian leaders and other manipulative figures often rely on unexpected words or behavior. A predator understands that confusion creates opportunity. The moment someone is trying to redefine reality while you're off balance is the moment you need to pause, reality test, and think critically. Recognizing a pattern interrupt helps you understand how covert influence techniques work, so you can stay grounded, ask better questions, and protect your freedom of mind. That's one of the most powerful ways to resist manipulation, whether it comes from Trump, a cult leader, or anyone attempting to control how you think. Click here cultexpert.myflodesk.com/bit… to access my Influence Continuum and BITE Model so you can better recognize these influence tactics and protect yourself from undue influence.
