Behaviour in schools is the single biggest barrier to learning. A few years back @ianwhite21 produced an excellent thread on reframing positive behaviour with 20 ways to help manage behaviour in the classroom. I did 4 one pagers to highlight how good these methodologies are. They are available for download from my shared drive.

It is unacceptable that women in politics face such abuse. It is also a real deterrent to more women being involved in campaigning and standing for office. I admire Jess Phillips’ strength and resolve standing up to this- but she shouldn’t have to in the first place.

“I understand that a strong woman standing up to you is met with such reticence,” replies Jess Phillips to a group of men intimidating after her win. Jess then tells of how a young woman delivering leaflets yesterday was filmed and screamed at by an older man, who then slashed her tyres. Huge respect to Jess.
