Companies think that it takes a lot to keep the employees happy. They add all kind perks such as ping-pong tables, coffee, game rooms, and crazy perks. While they're not bad, they ignore the basics. But it's actually pretty simple - treat employees like humans, not some assets. - Recognise and reward their efforts. Don't make them chase & beg for it. - Encourage them to take PTO and not feel bad about it - it's a win-win for both. Happy, rested employees are productive employees. - Give them autonomy and flexibility. Don't micro-manage them and don't breath down their necks. It's simple. Take care of your employees, and employees will take care of your company.
