A PERSONAL APPEAL FOR YOUR SUPPORT Dear Friends & supporters, I am reaching out to you not just as a candidate seeking your support, but as someone who sincerely believes that Surulere 1 deserves a better future and leadership that truly listens, cares, and delivers. My decision to contest for the Federal House of Representatives under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is driven by my desire to serve our people, give a stronger voice to our communities, and contribute to meaningful development in Surulere 1 Federal Constituency. This journey has not been easy. I have taken on the financial responsibilities of this campaign myself, and the demands have been enormous. Despite the challenges, my commitment to this vision remains strong. However, I have come to realise that a mission of this magnitude cannot be accomplished alone. It requires the support, encouragement, prayers, and contributions of people who believe in the same vision. That is why I am reaching out to all those who believe in me. I humbly ask you to stand with me and support this campaign financially or materially, according to your ability. No contribution is too small, and every act of support will mean a great deal to me. Beyond the financial assistance, your support will remind me that I am not walking this road alone and that there are people who believe in what we are trying to achieve together. If you believe in my aspiration and share my hope for a better Surulere 1, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Account details for your kind contribution: Bank: First Bank Plc Account Name: Surulere 1 Win Team Account Number: 2043175172 For enquiries: 08142354951 Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal. This woman here is Oluyemi Titilayo Adeyemi-Showunmi. She is the wife of Segun Showunmi @SegunShowunmi She was newly appointed by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Director of Electoral Operations at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). You can now know the reason why Segun Showunmi is all out attacking and threatening Nigerians with treason for demanding electoral fairness and credible elections in 2027. Truly, Segun Showunmi has collected rice. What other evidence do you need? PURE CONFLICT OF INTEREST Nigerians must defend their votes by all necessary means necessarily and at whatever cost. I challenge Segun Showunmi to deny this.

I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful. Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute. The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi. We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria. The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such. The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors. We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party. Nigeria will be OK. - RMK

Celebrating the Clarissan Missionary Sisters: A Legacy of Faith and Service Heartiest congratulations to the Clarissan Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament on the momentous celebration of your jubilees, which commenced with Holy Mass today at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha. I rejoice with you on this special occasion as you celebrate decades of faith, dedication, and selfless service to humanity. Reflecting on our shared commitment to uplifting society through education and human development, I fondly recall my support for your school, Maria Inés College, Obosi, through the provision of buses and computers to enhance mobility and facilitate learning among your students. As you continue your apostolate of forming minds, nurturing character, and empowering young people, I encourage you to remain steadfast in your mission. I firmly believe that education is one of the most powerful instruments for building a just, prosperous, and inclusive society. By investing in our people, especially the younger generation, we are laying the foundation for a Nigeria where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Together, through faith, service, and a shared commitment to human development, we can build the new Nigeria of our dreams. A new Nigeria that is POssible and OK. -PO

Education Is the Foundation of a New Nigeria Education remains the most important tool for development and nation-building. It has been proven that the more educated a nation is, the better it develops. It has also been proven that the developing and developed nations of today are those that have invested in education, healthcare and pulling people out of poverty. Nigeria’s increasing poverty remains a consequence of not investing adequately in critical areas of development, especially education. Today, while observing the International Day of Rural Women, I visited Sheda and Sheda Galadima, in Kwali Area Council of FCT, where I was surprised to see a huge number of school-age children in the market environs on a school day. In my conversation with the children, I was deeply shocked to learn that they had been at home for over two weeks due to the teachers’ strike. So, while we are busy inaugurating campaign councils with pomp and pageantry and declaring economic miracles, our young children of school age are loitering in the streets because of a strike, in a nation with already over 18 million out-of-school children. It is time to put our children and the future of our country back at the centre of governance and government decisions. Under our leadership, investment in health and education, as well as pulling people out of poverty, will be our priorities. The relevant authorities should immediately ensure that our children in public schools return to school in the FCT. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO

Honouring Nigeria's Rural Women on Their International Day Today, October 15th, is globally dedicated to honouring rural women. In recognition of their contributions, I set out early this morning to spend time with members of the Akpu Sellers Association at their markets in Sheda and Sheda Galadima, within the Kwali Area Council of the FCT, to gain a firsthand understanding of their lives and daily experiences. During our discussion, they expressed concerns about worsening hardship, declining business patronage, severely insufficient water supply, and the need for microcredit to strengthen their businesses. I assured them that our government remains committed to supporting them, all rural women, and indeed, all Nigerians. Supporting their enterprises will be one of our priorities because it is essential to my central commitment to lifting our people out of poverty. I sincerely honour the millions of Nigerian women in rural communities who cultivate our land, produce our food, sustain our families, and power rural economies, yet remain among those most neglected by government. They continue to endure hardship, insecurity, rising poverty, limited access to credit, and inadequate healthcare. My solidarity with rural women demonstrates my commitment to building a Nigeria where those who sustain our nation are empowered to prosper, rural communities receive the investments they rightly deserve, and no woman is deprived of opportunity because of her place of residence. A New Nigeria must support rural women. I commend our women for their resilience amid severe economic pressures caused by poor government policies, incompetence, and the outright mismanagement of our national resources. A New Nigeria is POssible, and will be OK. -PO

Pope Leo XIV: A Prayer of Gratitude and Hope Yesterday, I kept Pope Leo XIV, the head of the Catholic Church and Sovereign of Vatican City, in my earnest prayers as he underwent surgery. I am grateful for the encouraging reports of his successful surgery and recovery. I thank God for seeing the Holy Father through this procedure and pray for his complete recovery, renewed strength and good health. May God continue to guide his medical team, sustain him in this period of recovery and grant him the grace to return fully to his pastoral duties. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

In 2007, Daily Sun reported that Anambra State Governor Peter Obi had blocked pension payments to former governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju, who had left office in 2003 with more than ₦1 billion in unpaid pensions. Unnamed sources told the newspaper that Mbadinuju had left behind 16 months of unpaid pensions and once described protesting pensioners as “dead woods.” Obi reportedly said he found it difficult to approve Mbadinuju’s pension while the state was still struggling to clear the backlog of unpaid pensions he had inherited. Daily Sun reported, “Obi said that he could not approve Mbadinuju's pension in good conscience as ₦1.7 billion duly paid to the state by the Federal Government was missing and was still being investigated.” The governor’s spokesperson, Valentine Obienyem, did not confirm the report. However, when asked for his thoughts, he said, “It will become a good lesson to those that govern states that sooner or later, our actions and omissions will haunt us.”

PETER OBI IS NOT AFRAID: WE WILL CHECKMATE APC'S MANIPULATIONS. VOTES MUST COUNT OR BE COUNTED — NDC VOWS The National Chairman of the NDC, Senator Cleopas Moses, has vowed that the NDC will not lie down and be rolled over by the diabolical ruling APC. He stated that the desperation of the APC, which has led to its orchestration of violence against NDC members — the latest of which occurred in Enugu yesterday — will henceforth be resisted by every legitimate means. The NDC has warned against any attempt to manipulate the outcome of the 2027 general elections, insisting that the will of Nigerians must be reflected in the final results. Allow votes to count, or they will be counted. In preparation for the general elections, the NDC will unveil its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on 20th October. Recruitment of party agents has already commenced across the country. Learning from Peter Obi's 2023 presidential bid on the platform of the Labour Party, the NDC will engage committed, dedicated, and trustworthy party agents to defend and protect its votes nationwide. Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, are on the same page with the NDC leadership and remain the only viable option and the vibrant hope for Nigerians A New Nigeria is POssible. We can do it!

One Month Discount on Petrol: From Reactive Policies to Flawed Outcomes! The announcement by the APC led Federal Government offering a 30-day discount on price of petrol to relieve the acute hardship and hunger caused Nigerians by its unplanned removal of subsidy can only be described as another very reactive and confused approach to governance that is now the culture of the Tinubu Government. I had delayed in reacting to the announcement just to give the benefit of doubt and watch the outcome of the policy. Now, having assessed the outcomes, the policy is a substitution of political optics for sound policy. As Nigerians will recall, President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023, most carelessly removed fuel subsidy without any consultation or proper assessment of the negative impacts of such policies on our economy particularly on the livelihood of ordinary Nigerians. Moreover, the careless removal of fuel subsidy was followed by other very badly sequenced policies such as the floating of the naira and tax reforms, all implemented in a very disorganized, incompetent and insensitive manner in addition to using three budgets at the same time with the attendant lack of transparency and accountability. Collectively, these policies stoked inflation in all sectors, pushing in most cases unbearable price hikes across board which placed severe shocks and other adverse consequences on Nigerians. Expectedly, the outcomes are what they are- increasing multi-dimensional poverty, skyrocketing costs of goods and services, shrinking opportunities, exit of many businesses, mounting unemployment, disturbing insecurity, widening inequality, forced migration of our youths and general decline in the well-being of Nigerians. Most unfortunately, rather than engage in detailed and published regulatory impact assessment of their reactive policies, the President Bola Tinubu’s led government has again demonstrated their well-known incompetence and insensitivity to governance. With a detailed and published regulatory impact assessment of policies, a competent government would have pursued robust and sincere engagements and consultations with key stakeholders and ordinary Nigerians to recraft and implement inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth strategies and policies. What really does the President Bola Tinubu led government want to achieve with a one-month discount of less than 5% on fuel cost. Will it reduce poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and inequality? Will it increase productivity and exports? Is it a test to ascertain if subsidy should be restored? Is it another political gambit in the face of threats of electoral loss in the 2027 election? Too many questions, no answer!

Fun fact: I came to know Serah Ibrahim because of Peter Obi. I came to know Ndi Kato because of Peter Obi. I hated Aisha Yesufu’s guts because of BBOG but warmed up to her cuz of Peter Obi. I came to know Valentine Ozigbo because of Peter Obi. I came to know Nana Kazaure because of Peter Obi. I came to know Isaac Balami because of Peter Obi. I came to know Okoro (the one married to a Benin goddess) because of Peter Obi I came to know Jack The Destroyer because of Peter Obi. In essence, everyone of importance around Peter Obi today or in the past is completely dispensable and Obi’s popularity will not drop even -0.00000001%. So, tell all the riffraffs that used to be around Obi but have decided to go rogue that Obi will be fine and better without them. And if you are currently around Obi but you are already feeling too important, I want you to know that Obi will be fine if you walked away today. The Obidient Movement is bigger than anybody.
That babe isn’t with Peter Obi again but she just doesn’t know how to come out to oppose him, she knows his supporters will tear her apart if she does, considering the fact she used to be in his inner circle

I have nothing against David Hundeyin. I still think he is brilliant. All of us were in the same camp until things fell apart. I am not saying he is right or wrong, but there comes a point when every man must think for themselves. You are largely the author of your own story; you alone deciders how the story begins & ends When you dwell on “conspiracies” for too long, the lines begin to blur. There are innocent coincidences—things that are entirely fortuitous. You give the CIA too much credit. Not everything is controlled by the all-seeing eye, those prying eyes of Big Brother. While you listen to him (notice that I haven’t dissuaded you from listening, as I myself enjoy his conspiracies sometimes), but please give yourself a chance. People have turned 40 since the APC crashed the (once biggest economy in Africa, one of the fastest-growing economies in the world). Many are married now & raising kids Don’t miss opportunities because an “anti-US establishment journalist” decided to create a brand new niche for himself. He is creative, I give him that. I’m not saying America is not an Empire, because it is. I haven’t said it doesn’t pull levers around the world, because it does. But there are genuine opportunities out there; people are doing great things while networking. Don’t miss out on the chance to be the next Steve Jobs or build the next unicorn because a journalist cobbled some stories together & made them somewhat believable to gullible minds. The CIA is not what David Hundeyin has made them out to be. They have far better things to do with their time & resources.

As I track NDC Candidate Activities being posted online, Ogun State has shown to be one of the most Active, Visible and Organized States for 2027. I hope the leaders in @NigeriaNDCHQ and @PeterObi team are supporting them as needed.
Community Engagement at Abeokuta south, ogun central . Hon. Bldr. Agbeniga Bashir Olayinka, alongside Hon. Rotimi George Taylor, visited the Saraki–Ilupeju CDC in Adigbe, Abeokuta South, for a community engagement meeting. During the visit, both candidates interacted with community members and discussed their party’s plans and vision for the community ahead of the 2027 General Election. They spoke about the importance of community development and stated that, if given the opportunity to serve, their party would pursue meaningful development initiatives that address the needs and priorities of residents. The engagement also provided an opportunity for community members to share their views and interact directly with the political representatives. NDC Service!!✌️
