She was an expert and researcher drafting the South African National Strategic Plan on Gender-based violence and femicide, the NSP on adolescent health and the one who for 6 years was the global expert on health reporting to 193 United Nations member states. She did research, analysis and annual reports for the General Assembly and Human Rights Council. She ran a practice in the fold mines and platinum mines in GP and NW. And still runs a practice.
