This is the final photograph of Phillip Herron 34, crying in his car, literally minutes before taking his own life. He was a single Dad with three kids, struggling with crushing debt of over $20,000 and was desperately waiting for a Payday loan he’d applied for. But it was paid in arrears, with a 5 week wait time. That wait drove him even deeper into debt, and when he died he had $4.61 in his bank account and clearly couldn’t see any other way out. Like a lot of people, especially men, he kept all of this to himself, nobody else knew how bad things were getting. This poor man even had to tell his children that Santa Claus wouldn’t be coming, and in his suicide note he wrote that they’d be better off if he wasn’t around any more. And now he isn’t. We need to talk more. We need to be kinder. And we need to be a society that helps each other when we need it the most. RIP ❤️♻️

Very sad news this morning. We’ve just found out that another parent has taken their own life as a direct result of false allegations and Parental Alienation. He had not seen his child in over 2 years, he was accused of being a danger to them, claims he refuted and were dismissed by Social Services, the Police and the first, second and third Judge. There was no evidence against him at all, it was actually found that the mother was lying and yet each judge refused to punish the mother and instead preferred to stick with the “status quo” - which was a good, loving parent being kept away from his children. Each judge refused to punish the mother as “it was not in the child’s best interest” but the same judges felt it was okay to drive a desperate man to suicide and force a child to live with their abuser. He was in court again on Friday, trying to get the last ruling overturned, which he did, but then the ex partner announced she was moving away with her new partner and taking the kids with her so the ruling was a moot point. Dan had spent over £25k in legal fees, almost bankrupted himself and this was his final roll of the dice, the Judge told him he would need to submit a new application to prevent the children leaving the country - they were flying out that day. Dan was 41 years old, a good man who was abused by the system, apparently he decided to take his own life as he felt his life was now over without his children. This is why we need urgent changes. Urgent reform of the family court system. This abuse cannot continue.
