He starts preparing the necessary ingredients for the Draught of Living Death, trying his best to avoid any conflict.
"Don't worry, Granger, I haven't forgotten about our task," Draco says, trying his best to sound gracious. "I had a few things that needed to be done if you must knowโ"
Draco isn't particularly thrilled about having to work with Hermione either, and is slightly insulted by her comments.
However, he understands the importance of the task at hand and is willing to put aside his differences with the mudblood in the meantime.
He couldn't help but let a smirk grow on his face, enjoying the fact that he was the one helping her out this time.
Despite the fact that she had just been rude to him, he quickly scooped up her books and gave her a sarcastic smile.
"Watch where you're going, Granger. The last thing we need is for you to fall and break something precious," he said, handing her books back to her.
Despite the teasing from his friends, Draco had a soft spot for Hermione. He couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy when he saw her fall and her books go flying everywhere.
"You know, Granger, I can't help but notice your habit of complaining," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "It's really quite tedious."
Draco raised an eyebrow at Hermione's tone, the corners of his mouth curling into a smirk. He knew full well that he was late, but he couldn't resist the temptation to annoy her.
"Hermione, I know that you don't trust me, but I've had a change of heart," Draco said, his voice shaky. "I want to help Potter's cause in any way that I can."
As he approached her, Draco knew that she would be distrustful of him. But he was determined to show that he'd changed. He genuinely wanted to help and asked if he could do anything towards Potter's cause.
Draco, who had been fighting for Voldemort's side, had a change of heart. He realized that he was on the wrong side and that he had to make things right.
It had been a long and brutal battle, but it was almost over. The wizards and witches of Hogwarts were slowly gaining the upper hand against Lord Voldemort and his army.
"Hermione, have you put a spell on me?" he demanded, his voice cracking a bit as he flew down to where she was sitting. "Because I feel like something's not right."
Draco couldn't help but wonder if she'd done something to him. He didn't put it past her to have put some kind of spell on him.
Suddenly, he felt a strange sensation wash over him. It was as if all of his senses had been dulled, and he couldn't focus on anything except for a certain girl sitting in the stands. It was Hermione, and she looked upset.
Draco had been flying around on his broomstick, practicing for a big Quidditch match. He was determined to win, and he wasn't going to let anything distract him.
