"Atlanta?" Told you Yellow Flash was retarded. The way Lloyd here moves his lips like a horse and glares psychotically at the camera about "fake awards" is so gross and loathsome. He is a sick fuck. Az, they aren't "fake awards." Our fans voted on them. They couldn't possibly be more legit. Our fans are the only people who matter. The other choice would be, what? The Eisner committee? A bunch of communist blue hairs in Hollywood checking off DEI requirements? Wake up to yourself, dummy.

Heres my summation of For the Fans Fest. FTFF had a good draw. People were coming and going all day Saturday. I left early Sunday so I dont know what the draw was today. The first livestream on Saturday wasnt really scheduled and whoever happened to be there at the time went and sat in on them, about 30 people. On Saturday the exhibitor/vendors got just as much customer engagement as they would have gotten at a bigger con. At Dallas Fan Expo, for example, there is alot more foot traffic due to the overall size of the con and the celeb draw but next to no one goes specifically for the small comic creators that are vendors there. If youve ever walked around the small creators section at a large con you know most folks just pass by these tables without stopping and when they do most walk off without actually buying anything. Everyone who showed up at FTFF was there for the reason of seeing the CG folks and we all spent money. Everyone I saw had at least a few items. I personally bought from just about everyone there but Mike Baron because he only took cash. No one went there just to walk around and say hi and left empty handed. A bonus was getting to meet folks who you recognized from various stream chats once introductions were made, talk with them, find out where they were coming from, etc. so it made it a community type of event where people were stopping and socializing and stuck around for a while once they got there. For whatever its worth the folks you see on pick your favorite CG stream were all polite and personable during and after the event @billy_tucci and @gnolan12 specifically were great and would talk to you all day if youd let them. @shanedavisart, @EthanVanSciver, @DanLawlis, @JonMalin, @JoeMSonntag1, @Johnny_Rocket6, @CallMeClippa, @LOGOScomics were all great and engaging. Not one of them came across like theyd rather be somewhere else doing whatever else. If you like what these folks put out and ever wanted to ask them questions about it or just shoot the shit this was as great an opportunity as any to do that. I really enjoyed it and found it to be well worth the trip. If you like watching streams and interacting in the chat then youd have loved this.

EDITED: It appears Marvel hasn’t made this official but I stand by what I wrote below because it applies to other characters that they did retcon their sexuality. If Marvel genuinely cared about its bisexual readership, why not create a compelling new character instead of rewriting someone else’s work? How many readers are they actually reaching with these changes? If representation is that important, then put in the work. Create a new bisexual character, give him a great story, make him three-dimensional, and earn the investment of all readers—not just those who see themselves represented in him. That’s the hard part: creating a character people actually care about. It takes imagination, good writing, and the ability to build an audience from the ground up. And Marvel knows there’s no guarantee that character will sell. So why take the risk? It’s much easier to slap a new label on an established character, borrow decades of someone else’s storytelling, and congratulate yourself for being progressive. The “House of Ideas” is officially dead. screenrant.com/fantastic-fou…

HBO's 'Lanterns' has two Green Lantern veterans seeing red. Grant Morrison and Ethan Van Sciver unload on Hal Jordan's shocking death, John Stewart's moral collapse, and a finale they say betrayed one of DC's legacy superheroes. More below:
