Have to ask yourself why can’t we win in an entertaining way? It doesn’t have to be this or lose playing entertaining football.
I think you can be self aware enough to realise that feeling frustrated after winning 1-0 away at Forest, making it 10 wins in 11 games, is somewhat irrational
But football is driven by emotions, and we are a tough watch right now. I’d rather be winning like this than losing in an entertaining way
But it doesn’t mean I can’t also hope to both win and be entertained
Since the Saudi takeover in 2021, Newcastle have spent £60m more on transfers than Arsenal.
Play better on the pitch to bring in the revenue and you won’t have to sell 👍🏼

Is this an admission of a failed appeal? 🤣
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City’s lawyer, Mark Howard, sends strong warning to the Premier League after appeal!
🗣️“The Premier League must understand one thing: whatever decision they make, they must not take the punishment too far. Manchester City will not simply accept a disproportionate sanction without challenging it through every available legal avenue.
We expect fairness, not an attempt to make an example out of our club. The consequences of this decision could be enormous!”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The quote attributed to Mark Howard is fabricated. The account posts football fiction and satire, and no such statement exists in City's official appeal announcement or coverage of the lawyer's role.

Cheaters trying to give us a lesson on morals
Big respect to PSG fans! No insulting banners, just class and respect. Some Premier League clubs and fans need to learn that rivalry doesn’t have to mean disrespect. Not every big game needs to be turned into a competition of who can insult their rivals the MOST. Tonight, PSG showed maturity. The game recognised the game. What a night! 🤝⚽

If this guy “disappears” City fans have to turn on their club and demand the owners expulsion
On Wednesday, just hours after the verdict officially confirming Manchester City’s guilt, the Commission responsible for Portugal's witness protection programme informed me of its decision to terminate my participation in the programme and withdraw my police protection, thereby knowingly placing me in a life-threatening situation.
Given these circumstances, I have no alternative but to relocate, within the next few days, to an undisclosed location for an indefinite period of time, due to the multiple death threats I have received and the serious risk of an assassination attempt against me.
For this reason, I have just set up a GoFundMe campaign and I am asking for everyone's support to help me survive this serious situation created by the Portuguese State, which, as I have already stated, has knowingly decided to place my life at risk.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thanks to everyone who continues to support Football Leaks, and I can give everyone one guarantee: the fight will most certainly continue!
