The Fairmeadow towpath has reopened today. Now that section is complete, there's a 12km riverside route from Teston to Aylesford. #maidstone

We plan to reopen the towpath Thursday Morn (24th) with traffic management due to be removed tomorrow!
The towpath is planned to complete next Weds when it will reopen fully. The trees are due to be planted in the coming months.

The new bins and benches along the section of towpath we have been working on looking smart #maidstone
2/2 boats will be able to moor along this section where we have installed new mooring rings. Trees are due to be planted in the autumn
1/2 The 1st section of the towpath from F'meadow subway - Earl St opened Fri 21st, we are on sch to open the remainder at the end of Aug
Current towpath works are due completion by the end of August, there'll be a partial opening of the path shortly, info to follow nxt week
