[ Somehow, what felt like a jest of a thought to herself at first is starting to feel real.. ]
Never, if we’re close to a big deadline.
[ She’d say, her words playful in tone. ]
Most days, I sleep for at least 5 hours.
— on days like these, though?
I usually stop whenever I notice it’s afternoon, but the comfort of this bed can get the better of me every now and then.
[ A nod at her question. ]
Yeah. I didn’t have anything planned, so I wanted to take it easy today.

[ Having noticed those Elma’s tired eyes earlier, Kobayashi would scoot over, giving her room to do so. ]
Well, if you just wanted to hang out. .
[ With a lighthearted exhale out of her nose, she’d bring a hand to her blanket, rolling herself over, giving space for Elma to lay next to her in a single motion. ]
I wouldn’t mind spending our day off together.
[ Hearing those words, her panic would be eased with a sigh of relief. ]
Huh, I was worried that I was so late that you came to wake me up. .
[ but of course, relief could only last so long given the dragon in the room. Her room. ]
— wait-, then what are you doing here, Elma?!
「 After the workload I had this week? I think you being here is already help enough . 」
Bringing the hand that Tohru was holding up to the dragon’s cheek, she’d gently press her hand onto it.
「 — For now, at least . 」
Looking up at her maid, she’d flash her a subtle smile.
[ With her cheeks blush pink, she’d look up at the other with tired eyes. ]
I-It’s alright, Elma. I just didn’t expe-
[ Coming to her own realization, those eyes would widen. ]
Wait — what day is it?! Did I oversleep-!?
[ In a panic, she’d feel around the bed for her phone. ]
. . .
[ Eventually, tired eyes would peek open, grazing the sight of Elma watching over her before closing once again. ]
. . ?!
[ With a jolt of realization from what she thought she saw, her eyes would shoot open, scanning for the dragon she wasn’t expecting to see so soon. ]
With a brief, gentle smile to herself, Kobayashi wouldn’t stop Tohru’s advance.
「 I’m alright. Kinda tired.. but that’s what days like these are for . 」
Closing her eyes, she’d let herself slouch, causing her to lean back toward the one behind her, just a bit.
Big talk, all because she has a big chest.
Kobayashi will be looking forward to hearing it once she’s done with her.
