Proud to be the first New Hampshire candidate endorsed by the @Forward Party.
I sat down with @AndrewYang to talk about why I'm running as an independent in NH-02, and why I see it as my obligation to work with both parties to deliver the best results for the district in a challenging time.
Clip below.

I’m certified on the NH-02 ballot. A Saint Anselm poll question listed two candidates, and the only way to pick me was “Other.” You can’t qualify in polling if your name is never asked. Ballot-qualified independents are not afterthoughts when it comes to providing balanced information regarding elections and the integrity they should maintain. @SaintAnselm @NHPR @WMUR9 #independent #nhpolitics
I feel Ed's frustration. The question we should be asking is who is being served? Who is being protected? Who is benefiting...
Politics is an industry in and of itself; lot of mouths to feed and egos to stroke to keep the gravy train moving

We are entering a new frontier that requires a proactive stance to ensure liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Robots, AI, and superintelligence are coming. When a company swaps 100 workers for machines, the payroll tax those jobs paid into Social Security disappears, and the company keeps the savings.
Washington always waits until the damage is done. I’d rather get ahead of it now.
Today I released the American Freedom and Growth Act:
→ Your household’s first $105,000 is free of federal income tax. Every dollar after that is taxed the same as today. Over $750,000, you phase out.
→ Payroll taxes cut 35% on the first $60,000 of wages.
→ Tips, overtime, and your property tax deduction made permanent.
→ Family farms and small businesses keep today’s rate.
→ Companies bringing in $5B+ a year pay a 23% minimum, and every year they post what they paid in tax, what they took in subsidies, and what they spent on lobbyists.
→ An automation clawback: if a machine does the job, the machine pays in.
In 1956, corporations paid 28% of federal revenue. Today it’s under 9%. Working people made up the difference.
Does it cost money? Yes. Most investments do. The biggest corporations pay first, and I’ll post an independent score the day it’s done.

After a couple of wildly entertaining phone calls today, I was thinking about when I wrote this in May. The more things change, the more they remain the same.
I will not, and you should not, seek permission to have a voice within our democracy. #NhPolics #Independent
Do you hear that sound?
Rest assured, it is probably George Washington rolling over in his grave.
In 1796 he warned that political parties would become “potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people.” It was as if he had a crystal ball.
Two hundred and thirty years later, here we are.
Thomas Massie just lost the most expensive House primary in American history. Roughly $32 million was spent to remove one congressman who kept voting for his district instead of his party. That money did not come from Kentucky families. It came from a system that demands obedience from representatives more than it values their role as conduits of the people.
Bernie Sanders’ voters saw the same machine operate from the other side. In 2016, DNC officials were caught favoring Clinton while publicly claiming neutrality. In 2020, when Sanders surged to an early delegate lead, party leadership openly discussed changing the rules to stop him.
Same horse, different stripes.
Both parties have built systems designed to produce compliant representatives. What is good for national leadership, donors, and consultants often has very little to do with what is good for a family in Claremont, a farmer in Grafton County, or a small business owner in Keene trying to keep the doors open.
I have seen it up close. Right here in New Hampshire, I have watched people who publicly champion democracy, who have reviewed my platform, offered encouragement, and urged me to push forward, privately refuse to sign a ballot petition out of fear of retaliation from their own party.
And the irony is not lost on me. My platform will never be seen and my voice will never be heard without those signatures. People are afraid to put their name on a piece of paper. In New Hampshire. The Live Free or Die state.
So who exactly is the “we” in We the People?
The people of western New Hampshire deserve a representative whose only loyalty is to them, not to a system that has never once lost sleep over what happens in our neck of the woods.
I am an independent candidate for U.S. Congress, NH-02 because someone has to say this out loud, clearly, and without permission. Learn more at livefreenh02.com.
When we talk about socialism and communism this always gets over looked... why is that? #Nhpolitics
The government has acquired equity stakes in 35 private companies since last June. No congressional approval, no public debate. Unprecedented.
We launched the Restoring Free Enterprise project to push back. Read more from @scottlincicome.

It was my pleasure to sign this pledge especially with the understanding of how challenging rural healthcare is in CD2. Having to drive hours to receive chemo is a challenge no one should face in our state. We have to begin reform now that accounts for rural needs. #Nhpolitics #breakupbigmedicine #cancersucks
Thank you @ChrisPappasNH @stefanyshaheen & @MahrouRobbie for signing the @ACSCAN #CancerPromise! We would like to encourage @DiLorenzo4NH @SununuSenator @MaggieG603 & @Lily4Liberty to join them and sign to pledge to prioritize cancer issues, if elected. fightcancer.org/2026-cancer-…
Had a blast with this conversation. Thank you @graciegato for making it fun!! #NHpolitics
Robbie Mahrou: Independent for NH-02 on the Establishment, the Election, and the Playlist
A CANDID CONVERSATION ABOUT THE ESTABLISHMENT AND WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE.
Two parties. One duopoly. And a guy in the middle with no party machine behind him, just a campaign trail and a car stereo.
This week on The Gracie Gato Podcast, I sit down with Robbie Mahrou, an independent candidate for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District, for a conversation with no talking points and no handlers hovering off-camera. #nhpolitics #robbiemahrou #yanggang #independentvoters #newhampshirepolitics #receiptsovervibes
Really @ChairmanBuckley ? you delete your response to me... This is part of the problem... See below, my offer still stands. #NHPolitics
For some reason Mr. Buckley turned off the comments but here is the fact of the matter both parties are responsible for out debt and outrageous spending.
Data matters, math matters... take some responsibility if you want the voters to take you seriously instead of just pandering to your base... that's how you lose elections Mr Buckley. #NhPolitics #Independent #CountryOverParty

I just introduced the Red Meat Inspection Exemption Act with @chelliepingree to allow small farmers to slaughter and process their own livestock for direct-to-consumer sales without federal interference.
This bill keeps Trump’s promise by reducing regulations on producers.
Insurance companies are complicit in the rising cost of health care.
UnitedHealthcare told investors it would raise premiums and cut benefits to "intensely focus" on profits. Insurers deny nearly 1 in 5 prior authorizations in some markets. Shareholders come first. Patient care comes second.
Then there are the PBMs. Three middlemen handle about 80% of U.S. prescriptions, and each is owned by a giant insurer. The FTC found they charged nearly $4,000 for an MS drug that costs $177, pocketing $7.3 billion in markups. Shareholders come first. Patients care is an afterthought.
I would support the bipartisan Break Up Big Medicine Act from @SenWarren and @HawleyMO. BUT, it needs to do a better job of acknowledging the rural health care crisis we're facing here in NH-02 and in rural communities across the nation.

September payrolls: +29,000 against expectations near 90,000.
July was revised to -10,000. August was cut from 162,000 to 133,000.
Unemployment is 4.2%. Wages rose 0.1% for the month and 3% for the year, still trailing inflation.
The Fed spent the past year treating this labor market like it was still running hot.
The revisions say otherwise.
In NH-02, people feel that in their paycheck and their ability to pay the bills.

Big test for dems. Would be unbelievably tone deaf of their "leadership" to not open up their process.
Let's see if they learned that lesson...

Quick PSA: Please make sure you give your ballot plenty of time to get to your town clerk, and verify the correct mailing address on the clerk’s website.
I can speak from experience that sometimes mail simply doesn’t get to the addressee on time. We saw it happen during the petition process and town verification. I can only assume some of our mail gets routed through Vermont and Boston for processing, which can add time.
Best-case scenario? Hand-deliver your ballot to your town clerk.
Because apparently we’re still relying on the Pony Express. 😂
#PSA #NHPolitics #PonyExpress
To vote absentee, return an absentee ballot app. to your town clerk & prove your identity by either showing photo ID when hand-delivering your application; enclosing a photocopy of that ID when mailing your application; or notarizing your application.

oh and quick reminder there are 3 names on the ballot, not just 2 as is being "reported" #NH02 #NHPolitics
If either of the 2 parties cared about their "constituents" they would encourage challengers. But they dont... and don't want to spend the money on a primary and they dont want to hurt the fundraising capabilities of their "golden goose".
Its all about the money....
Vice President JD Vance has been the early Republican front-runner for 2028, but his position is already drawing interest from others weighing whether to challenge him for the party's presidential nomination. MORE: bit.ly/4xR1UWD
