Newcastle were bullied tonight. Young manager with a young squad are going to be on the end of defeats like this in the premier league. Yes, it shouldn’t have been that bad but there has to be a realisation that this season will be full of ups and downs. #nufc

The mainstream muppets and content creators tipping us for relegation and spurs top 4 make me laugh every single year. Jaissle making this look easy. Give him a couple more signings and we’re definitely on for a top season. #nufc

Can’t wait to see his passion and enthusiasm for front foot attacking football. Flexible formations and fresh ideas. Big job on his hands with the new, young signings but I’ve got a good feeling about it. We’re going to shock the league! #nufc

Pocketing 100m for Tonali then signing Gonzalez for 50 has to be the best of business this summer. Quality signing for #nufc

Any Reds in the Toon before the game Sunday head to Fleet St pub from midday for an unveiling of a mural for King Kevin Keegan. I’ll be there with workid @MattyTMC ❤️ 🖤🤍

For Jaissle to boogie, he needs backed. This squad is a long way off where it needs to be. Let me know your full time thoughts! #nufc

As expected. Time for the club to make a statement signing now. Can’t rely entirely on these kids next season. #nufc

Howe still officially at Newcastle then, absolutely mental that we haven’t had a statement from the club yet. #nufc

We thought the Isak saga last summer was bad haha. Gordon, Tonali, Trippier, Howe and Bruno this summer. Some rebuild job on Jaissle’s hands… but I’m backing it! #nufc

Initial reaction was shock at the timing of Howe leaving & the replacement. I’d have liked a Fabregas or Pochettino. But the #nufc model is clear, young promising players & a manager to match. Fully backing Jaissle now, passionate in the dugout with an exciting style of play!

Howe leaving #nufc is the right decision for all parties. But replacing him with Matthias Jaissle? What’s going on at our club man.
