BREAKING: President Biden roasts himself and Marjorie Taylor Greene at the White House Correspondence dinner.
Cracking a joke about his age, President Biden quipped:
“After all, I believe in the First Amendment, not just because my good friend Jimmy Madison wrote it.”
He then turned the tables.
“I want everyone to have fun tonight, but please be safe.
If you find yourself disoriented or confused you’re either drunk or Marjorie Taylor Greene,” President Biden said to raucous laughter.
Anyone else LOVE President Biden’s sense of humor? 💙

"There is no one who knows District I better than Joaquin." - @RepSylviaGarcia
It humbles me to receive such an endorsement. Rep. Garcia fights endlessly for our communities. She’ll be a great ally in supporting working families & committing to all within District I & Houston. – at Houston, TX

BREAKING: Yesterday Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Green, Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar and other Republicans sent a letter to Pete Buttigieg and the Department of Transportation asking for NTSB documents related to the East Palestine derailment.
Here's the Problem... The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is an independent establishment of the US Government and NOT part of the Department of Transportation.
Since the entirety of the GOP House oversight Committee clearly needs a civics lesson, here you go:
- The (NTSB) investigates every significant accident in the US
- The NTSB is an independent establishment of the United States Government, not part of the Department of Transportation
- The NTSB's job is to make transportation safer by conducting independent accident investigations and by advocating safety improvements
Now, do your actual jobs!
