PC Haydyn Brunsdon, 31, who is based at Darlington Police Station, has been charged with attempted sexual communication with a child. He appears at Teesside Magistrates' Court this morning.

The officer in question was caught by a so-called "paedophile hunter" group, having sent pictures of himself to an underage decoy wearing his police uniform.
